Who: Ariadne, Arthur and Eames
What: Super-important Talking
Where: Ariadne and Arthur's flat
When: This morning, just after this
Rating: Uh, smutty? Possibly?

Eames let himself into Aridane and Arthur's flat as quickly and quietly as ever, then replied to Arthur's message, standing in the middle of their living room in just his boxers. Making sure that everything seemed to be back to normal, he ended up in the kitchen boiling the kettle and intending to make tea when Arthur's reply came through. Plans for the intruder, indeed. Eames laughed to himself, then scrubbed at his face as he thought things through for what felt like the eleventy-bajillionth time. He made tea automatically, not even thinking about what he was doing, and then went to find Arthur while the tea was brewing.

Their first kisses were frantic and needy and painfree (except for when lips got caught between teeth or noses slammed into each other a bit too forcefully, and Arthur did grunt rather loudly when he was shoved up against a handy wall, but that was good pain, allowable pain, it was expected and normal and fuck, it was wonderful) and Eames was half-way to working Arthur out of his clothes when he remembered exactly what they needed to be talking about and who with. Time was, he wouldn't have given a fuck, he'd have kept unpeeling Arthur and then fallen properly into bed with him and they wouldn't have been seen or heard from for days. But he couldn't do that now, as much as he wanted to, and that was a lot. Jesus.

Pushing back from Arthur with a groan, he really had to force himself to move away from the man (a far more difficult task than it sounded) and try to calm himself down because it was really rather obvious what he'd been up to. Unsexy thoughts time, Eames. "Arthur... We... Oh, fucking hell. We have to talk to her now. Now."

Right, he was off to sit in the fridge and think of zombies and deathballs and Cobb squinting furiously at things.

Ariadne allowed herself to be guided to a seat. This wasn't surreal enough for her to want to check her totem - a nervous habit already and one she didn't want to encourage - but it was definitely strange. "There's not a dress code, but this would be easier if it didn't look like you were halfway through jumping Arthur and decided to chase me down instead." Well, that was nicely blunt. She sat down beside Eames, back straight and hands in her lap, and looked up at Arthur when he joined them.

God this wasn't going to be easy. Not that Arthur ever expected it to be. Smoothing himself out still, he looked over at Ariadne, "I told him that."

Watching the two of them for a brief moment, Arthur closed the distance and sat down on the other side of Ariadne. He'd been thinking all last night and most of his morning how this would go. What he would say. How was he going to say this? As much of a prude as he was (and he would admit that he had his moments), Arthur wasn't void of taking action when need be.

He had planned on explaining himself over the past few days. What was going on between him and Eames. But that was an idea long out the window as he gently reached out to turn Ariadne's face to his. One thing he'd been wanting to do since he arrived was something now at hand. Lifting her chin, Arthur leaned in, "We told you this isn't something terrible."

Arthur's lips closed down on Ariadne's gently.

It wasn't usually Arthur's style to leap without looking, but it wasn't beyond him. He had a hard enough time expressing his feelings, explaining something like this was just as difficult. So why not let actions speak?

This was better than their first kiss had been, immeasurably better. The strangeness of action in lucid dreaming was gone, replaced by solid reality and a thousand sensations that were dulled or substituted by the subconscious in a dream. And yet it was just enough like that first kiss - the feeling of his lips on hers, her legs pressed tightly together and their knees touching - to make her want to check her totem.

It didn't take long for the thoughts whirling through Ariadne's head to break through the haze of "Arthur is kissing me" and make her pull away. She couldn't go very far and certainly couldn't throw herself backwards like her instincts told her to, because Eames was there, playing with her hair and kissing the side of her neck. Maybe this really was a dream. It wasn't like the thought hadn't crossed her mind; she just hadn't ever considered it would actually happen. Particularly not this quickly.

"Wait. You - both of you? Seriously? And - I mean, this isn't just - are you sure?" Okay, she was babbling, she realized, and shut her mouth. This would be easier if Eames wasn't practically naked and Arthur wasn't still slightly disheveled. Or maybe that only would have made this stranger.

"Both of us, love," Eames murmured, "very seriously. And this is whatever you want it to be, but we'd hope that you'd want more than one or two tangles in whoever's bed we're closest to." Copying Arthur's move from a few minutes ago, he brought his hand up to cup her cheek, turning her to face him. He brushed his thumb over her lower lip and smiled at her. "Aren't you glad you listened to me and stayed, hmm?"

He leant in after that and kissed her, gently at first and then nipping playfully at her lip with his teeth before pulling back very slightly. "Or, do you have somewhere you need to be? Because I'm sure Arthur and I can keep each other busy until you get back," he said with a smirk, trailing the backs of his fingers across her cheek and then moving his hand back into her hair. "Keeping the bed warm for you, or something."

"Yes. Yes. I mean, no. I mean - oh, god," Ariadne stammered, feeling dizzy. Between Eames's hand in her hair and Arthur's mouth on her neck she felt pinned like a butterfly under glass. She closed her eyes, intending to gather her thoughts, but that only forced her to focus on the sensations that were threatening to rob her of all higher brain function. "God, can you - stop, just stop for a second?" Ariadne pushed herself to the edge of the couch and dug her phone out of her pocket, hitting speed-dial for the shop.

"Hi, Martin? I can't come in today. Family emergency. Sorry. See you tomorrow." With that she shut the phone off and tossed it on top of her bag, then grinned. "Okay. Right. Yes, I want more than that, and no, there is nowhere I have to be." And then she was attacking Arthur, rumpling his vest all over again and threatening to send his shirt buttons flying all over the room as she kissed him far more thoroughly than he had kissed her before. Eames's state of undress had swiftly changed from a distraction to an asset.

Arthur had a hard time keeping his composure during that kiss. Ariadne could be so damn cute when she wanted to be. Hell, even when she didn't want to be either. But darn it if Arthur didn't do his very best to keep from laughing. Thankfully it didn't take her long to ease him back into things, though he practically had to swat her hands away. Arthur eased out of his vest, tossing it aside between the kiss was returning reverently.

Moving to fan his fingers through her hair, Arthur eased himself back out of Ariadne's kiss, looking between her and Eames, "Are we seriously going to do this out here. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm bendy, but I'm not sure if I'm that bendy."

"God, Arthur," Ariadne sighed. "You make it sound like such a chore." But she took advantage of the momentary respite to kick off her boots and shrug out of her hoodie, since Eames had helpfully unzipped it while she had been busy trying to divest Arthur of his clothes. She turned back to the Forger with raised brows, her breathlessness ruining her attempt at a nonchalant tone.

"What do you think? His bed, my bed, the couch? On the floor? I don't really care." Instead of giving him a chance to answer Ariadne kissed Eames again, feeling giddy and entirely reckless.

Eames didn't even bother to try and reply. He just wrapped his arms round Ariadne and stood up, even as they were kissing. He couldn't help but grin as she laughed into his mouth, and then her legs were wrapped around his waist and he was wondering how on earth he had ended up with such skinny weightless people. The pair of them together probably wouldn't even weigh as much as he did. That was kind of weird.

Ariadne wasn't going to fall, so he let go with one hand to poke at Arthur's shoulder and pointed towards his bedroom. The door was open, after all. Then he turned his attention back towards Ariadne, slipping his free hand in under her top and moving it up to rest between her shoulder blades as he walked. He still hadn't stopped kissing her, and he didn't until he unhooked her legs from round his waist and she was dropped onto the bed. He really really hoped that Arthur had followed them in, and was standing beside him. He needed to continue Ariadne's sterling work from before and get rid of the suit.
