Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden had spend the past week studiously keeping his hands to himself. After all, he wasn't in the habit of sleeping with anyone, let alone sleeping with another man's wife. Even if she did have a fetching pair of...dimples. Needless to say, he wasn't expecting to wake up in bed with another man, like, ever.

Though he supposed it was only fair that it was his ex-wife's husband. "Uh..." He stirred, sitting up and scooting to the edge of the bed, still studiously keeping his long limbs to himself. "They do know that I'm not actually..."

It was amazing to what a person got used to and Harry had learned all about quickly adapting to uncomfortable situations from a very young age (that didn't mean he never complained but that was ... another matter). So, more or less, he had adjusted to having to share with Ric. Who was, luckily for Harry, was very good about the entire thing. Bed time and sharing a bed was an occasion for them to crack jokes about how people considered them being gay for their best friend - even despite the hot red head significant others they had waiting for them - before falling down into their respective sides and sleeping.

Harry was still asleep when Harry woke up but he had learned how to wake up at a drop of a pin for numerous movements so the different voice had him pushing awake, groggy and momentarily confused but still alert. He frowned before smiling slightly before his mind managed to catch and replay the last three words said the other man had said, "I don't think that whoever they are cares." He stifled a yawn. "They're more persistent about my so-called homosexuality that Skeeter ever was." He commented, wryly. And that is saying something.

Dresden raised an eyebrow at his strange bedfellow, but he couldn't help smirking a little at the quip. Anyone who could be that cavalier in the face of unwitting marriages and potential mockery deserved at least a little respect. Besides, it was a little known fact that Harry Dresden was actually a fan of the other Harry and his books, in spite of potential mockery.

Not that he would ever say that in front of the man himself. "I could tell you stories..." he muttered, shaking his head. "Anyway, I guess introductions are in order? I'm Harry Dresden."

Harry had been about to ask him if he often got falsely accused about hooking up with blokes when he stated his name and it managed to get the auror grinning. "The bloke that was placed with Ginny?" He chuckled lightly. "Every day this place seems convinced on showing me how barmy it's sense of humor is. Harry Potter. It's nice to meet you, even with the circumstances." Harry might have gotten used to his fame both here and in his own world, but some habits died hard. He didn't automatically assume people knew who he was, even though mention of name, let alone on sight.

"Guilty as charged," Harry confessed, nodding with an amused sort of smile. "It's nice to meet you too." He didn't mention anything about recognizing him one way or the other. He knew from experience that it was nice to have a break from the infamy once in a while.

"I don't know about you, but I could use some caffeine on a morning like this. Breakfast seems like a good way to break the ice."
