WHO: Chris, Piper, and Prue
WHAT: A very unusual to put it mildly reunion.
WHEN: Right after this.
WHERE: The apartment complex courtyard → the Grand Library → ??
RATING: TBD [mild swearing; likely nothing inappropriate]
STATUS: In Progress

Prue wasn't a big fan of the snow. She hadn't grown up around it and therefore wasn't very used to it, despite the time she'd spent outside California during her early twenties. However finding herself back in Colligo with only one thought absolutely certain in her mind - that she had been dead and was once again alive - she found that she didn't mind the snow so much. She might not remember what the afterlife was like, even if she'd been there nearly two years according to Chris, but she knew that it probably didn't snow.

Truth be told, Prue knew the giddiness she was feeling would wear off soon enough. Within a few days, maybe a week or two since it was Christmas, she would be back to her practical, no nonsense self. But for the time being she felt much more carefree than usual and she intended to enjoy it. After all, she was alive again and she wouldn't be alone for the holidays.

Of course, if she didn't get to her sister soon, Prue wasn't sure they wouldn't be spending Christmas in the hospital because Piper would probably try to kill her for keeping her waiting. Not that she blamed her. She remembered how freaked out she'd been the first time she'd showed up in Colligo. However she also hoped that Piper would at least relax knowing that not only she was there, but Chris was too. Not that Piper had any way of knowing for sure they were who they claimed to be... and that thought wasn't helping things. Prue set it aside for the moment and focused on taking a picture with her PDA of a snow-covered tree top as she waited for Chris to show up so they could get to the library. She was determined to stay calm and not be anxious. Getting worked up wouldn't help Piper calm down in the least and Prue's main focus - aside from being grateful she was alive again - was to help her sister adjust. The sooner, the better.

Prue turned when Chris appeared, already smiling brightly as he finally materialized fully into view. She was wearing what she'd worn when she'd died back home - which included a jacket but one meant far more for style than warmth - and she felt a surge of gratitude at the sight of the extra jackets her nephew had with him.

"Oh, it's so great to see you again too!" she exclaimed, returning the hug with vigor before holding him at arms length. She looked him up and down, still smiling brightly. "And jackets. Jackets are also nice," she added gratefully, glad she wasn't yet shivering and realizing only a bit belatedly that if she'd bothered to go inside she probably wouldn't be so chilled. But at least she'd gotten a few nice pictures out of the deal.

Taking the jacket when he offered it, she pulled it on quickly and wrapped it, and her arms, around her. "Ready to go when you are," she said, much more comfortable now that she was dressed a bit more appropriately. Prue had always been a fan of fashion but even she had to marvel at the difference a jacket made. Then her focus shifted to Piper, and how their reunion was going to go. She knew having Chris along was a good idea, knew that having her there when Chris told Piper about Peter was an even better idea. She just hoped it went well.

In a matter of minutes, she supposed she'd know one way or another.

Once Chris was certain that his aunt was all zipped up, he took her hand and orbed with her toward the library, "Alright, let's go."

He placed them right on top of the steps. When they arrived he let go of his aunt's hand but shot her a grateful smile. Despite his assurances to Peter he was nervous about telling his mom. Of course, the Piper here before had accepted it, but that didn't automatically make it easier. He hadn't had much of an opportunity to bring anyone home to meet mom. Piper had died when Chris was in his early teens and despite how nonchalant he'd acted most of his time spent in her present, he badly wanted her approval. She was his mom and he loved her. It might sound pathetic but he kind of needed it. There weren't many people out there who could make Chris care about much. His family were those rare people, his mom was a certainty.

Taking in a slow breath, he turned to look for her. When spotted her, he called out, "Mom!"

Piper didn't mind the snow, normally. She did mind it, however, when she was dressed in capri pants and a short-sleeved blouse. After jumping on the PDA network out of curiousity and discovering that Chris was there - as well as Prue, who shouldn't have even been alive - Piper had decided to try and see if she could freeze snow and whether or not that would make it warmer. She had wandered to the bottom of the steps, huddling against the building while waiting and trying out her theory. As she heard a voice just a moment later, Piper glanced up at the source and broke into a smile.

It was good to see Chris again, despite the fact that she'd only just seen him as a baby. She had missed the grown up version, while at the same time she wanted to be there to see him grow up. It was hard to compare the adult with the baby, and she still wanted to think of him that way. Pushing those thoughts out of her mind, she jogged up the stairs and threw her arms around him tightly, not caring that he wasn't a fan of hugs quite as much as she was. "It's so good to see you, Chris."

Releasing him a moment later, she turned to the woman who stood next to him, and her breath caught for a moment. "Prue?" She looked exactly as she had the day of her death, which seemed strange, but also a little familiar. Taking a deep breath - and trusting that it was her since Chris was there and he would've made sure it was really her - Piper stepped forward and hugged her as well, even tighter than she had Chris....and proceeded to burst into tears.
