Dream had been a-shopping. Don't tell anyone, but he had gone out and bought a small, brightly wrapped sugar plum, and a fairy made of marzipan. The little sprite reminded him of a certain young lady who seemed to pop in to sprinkle happy thoughts like pixie dust whenever he was feeling particularly...scrooge-y. He liked her, in an avuncular sort of way, and had been possessed with an irresistible flight of fancy to indulge her delightful little imagination just this once. Or perhaps 'once again' would be more accurate.

Early Christmas gifts procured, now all he needed to do was to find her, making snow angels, so that he could deliver them without being caught making such a silly fuss.
