Who: Charley Pollard and OPEN
What: Getting into trouble as usual
When: Thursday afternoon
Where: Wandering around near the park
Rating/Warnings: TBD
Status: In progress

It never failed, Charley was always going to look for trouble. She couldn't exactly help herself. And as far as she knew, there was no one to stop her. Well sure, she could have knocked on one of the Doctor's doors, but they were probably busy. And she didn't know exactly what she was looking for at all. Really just using any excuse to get to know her surroundings. That was the only way you could function in a place where you didn't know where you were. Not to mention a place you couldn't escape from. In a way, she was reminded of being in Caedroia again, and she couldn't help but wonder if somewhere in this city there was a labyrinth.

She really hoped not.

If there was one thing she learned though, it was to explore and figure out what was going on. Without further ado, Charley had gotten herself ready and headed down towards where the park was, and figured at the very least, she could take a walk. And if she got into a little trouble, well so much the better, right?

Jenny wasn't human. Earth wasn't her home planet. She'd never had a childhood and she'd never celebrated a single birthday. None of these concepts were lost on her, of course, but the natural assumption that they didn't apply to her meant she was quite excited when she woke up one morning with a note on her PDA telling her where she ship could be found. She was thrilled, of course, that the city had seen fit to give it to her, but she also had been a bit confused as to why.

However, by the time she'd gotten to the park and discovered that her ship was actually there, she had decided the why - just this once - really didn't matter. She'd been given something she'd missed terribly, something that could only aid her in her quest to learn the truth about the mystery that was Colligo. Yes, she knew her ship wouldn't leave the atmosphere. It wouldn't even leave the city. However it was still functional and that was more than enough for her. And so it was, from the moment her ship had arrived nearly a week earlier, that Jenny spent most of her time tinkering around with it. It wasn't as nice as the TARDIS, of course. However it was hers, one of the only things she owned in fact, and she felt at peace simply being near it.

Of course, being her father's daughter, Jenny rarely stayed on one task for very long. She often bounced from section to section, working on this and that, before scurrying outside to do some maintenance on the outer hull. It was during one of those scurry sessions that she heard someone passing by. She likely wouldn't have paid attention in the slightest, honestly, if at that precise moment there was a spark that sent her stumbling backward and landing hard on her rear as the small, circular piece of machinery she'd been trying to fuse back into place shot up into the air and over the other side of her ship.

Scrambling to her feet, Jenny took off around the corner after it, well aware it had flown in the direction of the person walking past. Popping up from behind the bushes, she flashed the woman standing there a broad smile. The woman looked familiar. Quite familiar, in fact. However Jenny couldn't quite place her and wasn't going to guess just yet. Not when there were more important things to focus on.

"Hello!" she greeted her merrily. "I - ah - don't suppose you've seen a piece of metal come whizzing past just now? About this big, circular in shape, possibly giving off very minor radiation waves?" She smiled once more, absently pulling a stick out of her blond hair then using it to point just past where the woman was standing.

"It likely would've wound up just over there... and I'm sorry but you look terribly familiar. Have we met? I'm sorry if we have and I don't remember. I do try to remember faces but it can be a bit difficult in this place what with the coming and going all the time, yeah?"

Charley hadn't meant to stumble across someone, and she wasn't expecting to see a ship so when she heard someone fall and stumble she blinked and jumped a bit. Oh. It was a spaceship. She peered at it a bit before Jenny popped her head up and announced herself. She really should be better at not being surprised by things. The girl too looked familiar, but she wasn't quite sure where she knew her from. Or if she did at all.

"Hello there," she greeted back. Well the woman wasn't pointing a gun, trying to kill her or anything like that, so why not be nice? Better than running into someone who wanted to take over, like she normally did.

"A metal come? Was that what that was? I think so, but I didn't know and honestly I was too busy getting out of the way to pay much attention." She gave a little laugh and looked behind her to where it was supposed to go. "Um, it's entirely possible, I suppose." Considering she hopped from time to time. Literally.

"I'm Charley, Charley Pollard." She gave a bright smile. "I can only imagine how hard it is to keep track of people."
