Waking to find her husband practically giddy with glee was typically something most women would consider a good thing. Of course, most women weren't married to the Time Lord who had once gone by Harold Saxon. And the one woman who was happened to know that, when it came to her husband, giddy with glee was not necessarily a good thing for the rest of the world as a whole. The discovery that his TARDIS had arrived during the night didn't immediately help assuage Lucy's reservations, either, although it did shift them a little. Whereas before she was worried that Harry was up to something, now her worries were more than she was going to find herself rather unceremoniously replaced by a ship.
Yes, she knew a TARDIS wasn't just any ship. And she knew that, eventually, the newness would wear off and Harry would go back to finding other ways to amuse himself. However from the moment she'd learned about Lolita's arrival, to right up to the moment when Harry had made it clear she wasn't going to just sit idly around while he tinkered, Lucy had been worried. Happy for her husband but certainly worried for herself.
Now, though, she was simply confused.
Harry had never made any illusions to her lack of intelligence. She knew he considered her just as simple-minded as the rest of her family. So to hear that he wanted her around while messing about with his TARDIS was understandably a surprise, and not one she was sure how to handle. Rather than ask him about it, though, and risk his good mood, she simply continued to sit - curled up on one cushion of the sofa - with her PDA resting lightly in her lap and waited for whatever she was supposed to do next.
