WHO: Sherlock Holmes & Jade
WHAT: Sherlock is being...Sherlock
WHERE: Colligo City Streets
WHEN: Sept. 22nd; Afternoon
RATING: PG
STATUS: In Progress

It was utterly remarkable just how...unremarkable this city was. Sherlock had already committed most of the streets to memory, but if the city pattern hadn't been so exceedingly different, he could have easily have sworn he was in London, or Liverpool, or Glasgow, or any other large city anywhere on the planet that was in an English speaking country. And if you changed the signs to any foreign language, you could drop it into any other country as well. Sherlock had spent most of the morning searching for anything obvious that seemed out of place, and other than the huge forest ringing the outside of the city (which did not happen as a metropolis this big gradually edged off into smaller urban centers then suburbs and then into forested area) there weren't anything that Sherlock could pinpoint to mark this city as something odd.

And that was beginning to frustrate him to all ends. Clapping his portable magnifying glass back into its case, Sherlock huffed in frustration, blowing up some of his bangs off of his forehead as he pivoted on his heel on the sidewalk, eyes scanning the area to try and find anything else to look at, anything else that stood out, but even the people were dull, dull, DULL. And Sherlock was beginning to get quite sick of this. There hadn't even been a decent murder here yet, and he was growing stagnant.

There was only so much crap telly he could watch before going absolutely mad.

There was something about the way that he became instantly curious that was almost endearing. She would have thought it would be annoying. She always did hate feeling like some sort of sideshow freak for having once been something other than human. However with Sherlock, she didn't take insult so much as find it a touch amusing. Likely due to the fact that she doubted there was much that could make him so interested so quickly.

She wasn't one to keep him waiting for long for an answer, though. Dragging it out seemed unnecessary so she simply nodded and smiled lightly. "I was an angel. Archangel, to be exact," she said simply. Her eyes sparkled for a moment as she had a rare reflection of fondness for her previous existence. "Amitiel. The Angel of Truth, ironically enough."

Blinking, Jade's expression froze and she shifted a little in her chair as she glanced toward the table. "It feels like an eternity ago," she murmured before glancing back up at him. "But it's only been two years."
