WHO: Sherlock Holmes & fem!Jim Moriarty
WHAT: Sherlock knows where you're hiding, Jim. He's just not prepared for the second bit.
WHEN: September 18th; Afternoon
WHERE: Jim's Flat
RATING: PG-13
STATUS: In Progress

Sherlock had figured out Jim's hiding spot. He'd gone up to check earlier that day, and the nameplate next to one door on the sixth floor shined with the name Jim Moriarty. Sherlock had been practically gleeful as he had raced back down the stairs in order to get a pen and a piece of paper. Ripping it in half, Sherlock had scrawled a quick note out to John declaring his deduction a success before scrawling out a note on the other half, a prideful grin on his features as he ripped off a section of tape from the roll on the counter and raced back up the stairs.

He'd tack the note to the door and leave, let Jim find it in his own good time and take it as he would. John would probably call him a moron for doing this, reckless, dangerous, poking the sadist was never a good idea because it often ended up an old lady strapped to a bomb and twelve people dead in the rubble of an apartment building. But Sherlock honestly just couldn't resist gloating.

Leaning forward, Sherlock held up the note, smirking at the words "You repeated yourself again", as he pushed forward to tape it onto the front of the door.

Sherlock knew he should probably turn down the offer. He'd spotted the gun as he entered the flat, and while he was almost certain that that wasn't the only one there (just the only one in plain sight), he doubted Moriarty would invite him to sit only to shoot him then. No, that would really take all of the thrill out of it. If Jim ever did get around to kill him some day, there would be a great deal of dramatic build up to it first.

"Mmmm," Was all Sherlock said in response to Jim's denial and explanation as he turned, taking a seat and folding his hands in his lap as he looked up at his feminized arch-nemesis. "I would have hoped you'd find a use for such an opportunity. But I suppose one's pride does take precedence over the potential gains that could have been made," He said, allowing a lazy smile to grace his features.

Yes, Sherlock Holmes was suggesting that Moriarty could have utilized his female appearance to manipulate people. It wasn't as though the thought hadn't occurred to him. And he figured the other man would probably appreciate the suggestion...even considering he'd probably wasted all of the time that he could have done something like that.

"I'd certainly appreciate a good cup of tea. Without poison, preferably."
