WHO: Anyone invited to Ted and Victoire's Wedding [plus any guests and crashers]
WHAT: Ted and Victoire's wedding reception.
WHEN: About 7:30PM [just after the wedding]
WHERE: The park
RATING: TBD
NOTES: Everyone feel free to branch off into subthreads within this main thread, as folks are liable to wander and mingle during a reception. And yes, party crashers are welcome. Just don't cause too much of a stir or you risk the wrath of the bride and groom and their extended family. ;)

Despite the fact that there was no power, the wedding went off without a hitch. Not one single issue. Well, there were a couple of things - making sure they had enough for everyone present and making doubly sure everything had a cooling charm on it so there wasn't any melted cake or ice cream, things like that - but for the most part everything went smoothly. At twenty after seven Victoire and Ted were officially wed and the ceremony switched gears into a party. There were enough torches and candles beneath and around the various tents that had been put up that there really wasn't any issue with seeing. Things had a surreal sort of glow to them but it seemed to fit the general ambiance.

Victoire and Ted sat at their table, a brilliant smile on the bride's face as she turned her gaze from the guests all mingling amongst themselves to her husband beside her. The cake and ice cream were on a table, ready to be served to whoever wanted some, and pretty soon James (the younger) would take the stage. All-in-all it was a pretty average wedding reception. If you didn't pay any mind to the magic being used and the fact that there wasn't any power anywhere around, for as far as the eye could see.

Sirius enjoyed weddings. Well, he enjoyed weddings when it came to people he loved. He had been dragged to Lucius and Narcissa's, and he'd jinxed all the flowers to turn into huge spiders whenever the bride came within a foot of her new husband. But they'd been idiots. When he'd been best man at Prongs's wedding, he'd just sat quietly until his speech, when he'd made James turn so red he'd wondered if his best mate's head would fall off. Then he'd done the robot, seduced a couple of bridesmaids, and brought them back to his room... Bish bash bosh. A successful evening all round, he thought.

So now, at Teddy and Vic's wedding, he sat quietly at his table, resisting an urge to make a complete and utter spectacle of himself until after the pudding had been cleared. After all, Moony was his best friend. He'd do anything for that werewolfy idiot. Including sitting respectfully through a ceremony and not making anything explode for at least an hour. Although the pressure of the task starting to get to him... Snape and Merlin had been invited, after all.

Sirius looked for James (the older) on his table, and raised his eyebrows in a way he hoped would pass on how he was feeling. Which was reckless, a little, teeny bit drunk and very much in the mood for mad dancing. They should definitely do the conga in the next half an hour... Thank Merlin Prongs was pretty good when it came to reading Sirius' mind...

Padfoot's knee twitched anxiously, hitting against that of his date. The animagus sent Morgana a guilty grin, before he looked back to the main table, his eyes seeking out the gaze of his godson...
