====================================
Connor Reilly was happy to have a job now. It had been relatively simple to get. It was easy, Claire had just hired him right there on the spot while having a network discussion. Probably would have been more difficult if he had to go about it the usual way. He had no references, no ID except for the driver license in his wallet, not to mention you couldn't call up the past workplaces for information. So this was definitely very fortunate. He'd adapted quite well to it, paying attention to when Claire showed him the ropes. It took him a little while but Connor eventually got the hang of it. He could now start making money again. Probably even save up enough to buy what he needed or wanted. Maybe some music, movies, a few video games. And perhaps some workout equipment to throw in there too. It wasn't a career by any means, but at least it was something substantial to do until he graduated next year.
He had already been working into the first hour into his nightly shift. The young man had managed to sort and restock the Comedy section and was now heading for the Action department. He shook his head briefly when he noticed one of the titles out of place, alphabetically out of order with the others, so he had amended the error. Honestly, what was up with that? Shouldn't be that hard. If one is looking at a movie to rent, and then disinterested in it, at least have the courtesy to set it back at the proper place on the shelf. Not right in front of a movie that's already there. But it wasn't a real problem. Just one of those little things that are annoying at times when it happens. And besides, it was very easily fixed. Once done, he pulled his cart to the next selection of action titles and proceeded to stock them. Though he couldn't help but think as he saw a few covers, that he could rent a couple of them himself once he went on his lunch break.
