Who: Jo Harvelle and OTA
Where: Her room, then the park.
What: Jo’s having trouble sleeping and decides to take a walk
When: Thursday night
Warnings: Some descriptive stuff about her death, maybe some mild angst

”Dean!” When she saw him go down, she slid to a stop and began to run back towards him. She could hear Sam and her mom behind her shouting for her to keep going-even Dean was waving for her to keep going, but she wasn’t going to leave him. She fired her shotgun into the hell hound once, twice, three times, advancing on it as she did so, and making the last mistake she ever would. She had gone right into the middle of the hounds. She didn’t hear the other one until it was too late, and as she turned, she could hear it lunging towards her. She went down as its teeth and claws caught her in the stomach, a scream escaping her.

Jo sat up with a jerk, breathing hard as she fought to get her bearings. Her hand reached for her stomach, sliding under her tank top, and she relaxed slowly as she felt that the skin was whole. Through the moonlight streaming through her window, she could see that she had shoved her pillows and sheets to the floor and rather than reaching for them, she slid out of bed and slipped her feet into her boots. She had slept in her clothes because she wasn’t comfortable yet here, and she didn’t know if she might have to leave at a moment’s notice. Scooping up her jacket and slipping a handgun her mom had given her into a pocket, she felt the need to get out of the room, and she headed for the door.

A few minutes later she was exiting the building, where she stopped and glanced around, studying what she could see of the city in the moonlight. After a moment, she just picked a direction and started walking. As she found herself moving into the park, she tuned her senses in to her surroundings to make sure nothing was about to sneak up on her. Despite some of the others saying it was safe, they had also said that Lucifer had been there very recently, which meant that this was anything but a safe place.

Light blue eyes studied the woman as she spoke, and the woman nodded. "Yeah. Guess it's pretty obvious." One shoulder lifted in a shrug. Despite the tough facade she was putting on, Jo was, in all honesty, pretty scared. The only person whom she knew could tell was her mom, and while she was upset to learn of her mother's death, she was glad that her mom was there, too. At least she didn't feel totally alone. Oh, sure, Sam and Dean and Bobby were here...but it wasn't the same.

"So are you a local, or are you one of the others who's been brought here? And if you are...how long have you been here?" She had seen Dean say something on the boards about having been here for eight months, and that weirded her out very much. Just how long ago had she died?

Jo couldn't have been more wrong, actually. Anna's people sense was pretty strong. She could sense when toughness was actually just a veneer for nervousness, and she got that pretty strongly here. But if what Castiel had said about Jo was true, getting her to admit it would be like an act of congress and take twice as long.

"No, I'm not a local," Anna responded with a small smile. "I've been here for a couple weeks now, actually. I'm supposed to be dead," she pointed out with a small shrug as she smoothed a hand through her hair and looked at a nearby bench. The circumstances of Anna's death weren't necessary here, she decided. Jo would probably try and kill her if she knew what Anna had done to the Winchesters.

She nodded over to the bench and then looked back to Jo with a sweet smile. "Mind if I sit?" she asked, not letting on to the fact that she didn't really need to. "I've been out and about for a bit and my legs are killing me."

"Guess we've got that in common." She paused a second, then shrugged. "Actually, it seems to be a running theme, here." Which still made her half think this was some kind of purgatory. Though she hoped it wasn't, after meeting Ben. Kids shouldn't be stuck in a place like this.

She was tugged from her thoughts by Anna's words and she glanced over to the bench, then gave a small shrug. "Sure." After a moment, Jo joined her on the bench. For now, her hand slid out of the pocket again, away from the gun. She didn't feel that Anna was a threat, though she'd been wrong before.

Her attention swiftly returned to the redhead before she could let her thoughts go in that direction.

Anna remembered seeing that on the forums, too. The last three people from her world who'd arrived - and in actuality, the last five people from her world who'd arrived, because of Adam and herself - were dead. It must have been weird for Sam and Dean, she couldn't help but think. But with Jo here, and from what she'd heard about Jo's last appearance in Colligo from Castiel, he probably had it the roughest.

Anna gave her a smile. "From what I gather about this place, it's another planet. And the city itself is called Colligo," she explained, smoothing a hand through her hair and relaxing. "And the locals are sort of...well, they're not right," she laughed a little bit. "At least not when you ask them about the city itself."

Shaking her head, because even she still had a hard time believing it a lot of the time, she looked at Jo. "Man alive, just when I thought I had the market cornered in weird."

"Another planet. See, that's where it gets confusing. Because last I checked, life didn't exist on other planets. That's what they say in the news and stuff anyway." The blond shook her head, absently crossing her arms over herself as she glanced out at the park.

"Why are we here? Do you know?" She herself was pretty confused-and it was starting to show. "I mean...why are we here, suddenly, after dying? Not that I'm against living or anything, but...I kinda thought I was done, you know?"

"But who knows about other planets in other galaxies," Anna shrugged. She understood Jo's skepticism, especially seeing as how she'd been dragged from death to come here. "I'm not saying they're right, because I don't know." She did know. But that was beside the point, because she didn't think Jo would react to well to 'I'm an angel, and oh, God's here, too and explained everything to me this way.' It was just a hunch. "I'm just saying, it's not an impossibility," she shrugged.

"As for why? I have absolutely no idea," she laughed bitterly. For an angel, the unknown was really, really uncomfortable. And this was definitely a huge unknown. "So did I," she chuckled when Jo mentioned thinking she was done. You generally didn't come back from being smited by Michael. "I don't know how it happened, like I said, but I definitely don't mind it..."

"True, but...still. I don't remember us developing any kind of wacky ultra space travelly stuff." She gave another shrug, looking back over to her. "Right, I don't mind it either. But I'd just kind of like to know the how and why-and find out whether or not I'm supposed to be doing something."

After a moment, she continued. "I'd also like to know how to get home. Has anyone figured that out, or figured out who's in charge around here?"
