Who: Meg, Robin, and Marian
When: After this
Where: In front of the library
What: Meg thought it would be a good time to repay the same kindness she had been shown when she first arrived.
Rating: G/Pg
Status: Incomplete

In her short time here Meg had adapted quite well. Being able to read and write helped a good bit. She wondered if there were any that came in that didn't know how to read and write. Those people would be in a spot, that was sure.

She had been tempted to wear the gown she'd arrived in, but she had yet to repair it well enough to suit her. So instead she settled for the modern wear that was in her closet, blue jeans-which she had yet to really get used to, and a green silk blouse. Her long curls tied back in a high pony tail, a few left to dangle at her temples. The simple soft leather bottomed slippers that she'd came here in hiding her toes.

Her stride was quick, she didn't wish for the two to sit outside the library for as long as she had. That wouldn't be very assuring. But at least Marian and Robin were together, rather than either one being by themselves. When she saw the two figures not but a stones throw from the stone steps, a bright welcoming smile spread over her lips.

Once she was before them she dipped into a short curtsy, which was odd without a skirt. "Lady Marian, Robin. It's a pleasure to Welcome you with better manners than the fellows in the book archive."

(ooc: blerg sorry for the suckiness, I just couldn't find Meg's muse today.)

He had felt Marian's hand begin to pull from his grasp before she stilled it. He could tell what she was thinking, and gave her hand a reassuring squeeze in return. Here, where ever and whenever it was, they had no reason to hide their feelings from anyone. And being with a Marian who's feelings for him had apparently only grown stronger was not something he wanted to miss out on enjoying.

Robin smiled at Meg's words about heroes. He wasn't going to pretend he didn't like to hear that. What they had done and been successful in he was unaware of - Marian had spoken of getting a message to the King. He could only hope they had achieved that.

His interest was piqued when she mentioned funds. "People work here, then? What sort of jobs are available?" He passed her the little device when she asked to see it. "That might make things a little easier."

Marian looked down as she was called a hero, thinking the word didn't really apply to her. To Robin definitely but not her. She didn't do anything that was worthy such a title. Her eyes fell to the thing that she had been given when Meg showed her own, glad that someone would be able to tell her what it was and what it did. When it came to being told that it said where she was staying and she handed hers over with Robin's.

"At least we have somewhere to say. But like Robin said, work will be needed. We have no money here."

She took Robin's cell phone first and touching a few buttons she called up his apartment number. "You each have one hundred uh.. dollars to start with. All you have to do is hand this to the banker and they will issue the money to you. It's closed at the moment, but we'll walk by it and I'll show you, so you can go at your leisure." She handed Robin's phone back to him and took Marian's touching the same buttons she came up with the same room number. "What luck you both share the same flat." She couldn't help but grin.

She wasn't sure what to tell them about jobs. She hadn't one herself. "Um I'm actually a house wife of sorts... Without the wife part. But Guy works in a market not far from here. I'm sure there are other jobs to be had else where." She wasn't going to spell out why she and Guy came to that agreement, it was one thing to live in sin, and entirely different for other people to know about it. She handed Marian's phone back to her.

"As you've already figured out, you communicate with others with that," She nodded at the gadget,"it's called a Cell Phone. I cannot stress the importance of it enough. Things will get weird, quite more so than they are at the moment." Even with the warning she couldn't help smile. She actually liked this place, as it was a good bit better than death. "Shall we?" She directed her hand towards the way they needed to go. "I'll answer any question that I can along the way."
