Who: Mary and Jo
What: meeting, and Mary asking about a job at Harvelle's
When: midday
Where: Harvelle's
Rating: TBD

Mary had been doing her best adjusting to the world in which she was thrown in. She managed to keep up with the constant changes it loved to throw at her, but in the end she always felt out of place and unusual. Out of place was the obvious statement of the year, that was for sure. However, she had yet to come to terms with the situation as of yet. She wandered from place to place feeling as if she was doing nothing with herself and she hated that. She didn't stop trying to look for John and asked everyone she could. Mary knew he wasn't there but the constant arrivals and leaving of people made her ask. Making sure John was alright and finding a way out were the two things that never left her mind.

As she wandered the downtown area she was looking into the many windows of the different buildings when she happened to come across one that was clearly new. She paused for a moment as a blonde woman posted a 'Help Wanted' poster in the window. A job wouldn't be a bad way to keep herself busy. It might even get rid of the many thoughts of John and escape that seemed to be hopeless and insist on plauging her mind.

Mary smiled at the woman and opened the door to enter the newly remodeled building. "Hey," she said, "I see you're looking for waitresses, I was wondering if I could possibly apply?"

Now, with her memories back a hundred percent, a couple of new friends, a new apartment she felt comfortable in and her bar beginning to open its doors, Jo was starting fresh. The weight of the memories had crushed her for a good couple of days, but she forced herself out of it and forward as she always did. When the past disappeared and she was back on solid ground again in the present, she immediately set to work. She needed to work in order to keep her mind busy since it was already buzzing with these new images that were constantly becoming a revolving juggling match for which one wanted to be front and foremost. Jo knew she needed to make new memories now, because nothing would really come from these except knowing who she was.

So she'd started to finish up the details at the brand new Harvelle's Roadhouse. The beer was stocked, the food was ready, the rooms were ready and the jukebox and tables and other little things needed to make a place like that homey and welcoming to people were put into place. She'd loved that Claire had helped her and now, with only a day left, she slipped up the 'Help Wanted' sign.

And things must be going right for a little bit for her after all the wrong. Because not two seconds after she did, a nice looking blonde woman who seemed familiar appeared and asked to apply. Jo smiled and propped her hand on her hip. The girl seemed about her age and like she knew her kind of business. Heaven shine down upon her and please let the girl know how to handle drunks. "Sure. You ever waitress or bartend before?"
