Sheldon sat in the living room on his spot on the couch and watched Billy, fascinated.

Billy was just staring at the laundry. He had been for a few hours now. Sheldon make another note in his book.

"Okay, I have to ask, why are you staring at the laundry? Do you hope to make it explode with your brain?" he asked.

	"Oh." He nodded, though that word was kinda gross and technical. "Yeah, I kinda didn't want it to move too fast. And especially since - since she didn't know about the Dr Horrible thing." Billy shrugged. "I'll.. do it Wednesday?"

He heard the knock and got to his feet, walking over to answer the door.

"I can't go there today, though. I mean, what if I get there, and I see-"

He paused because he'd opened the door. And she was there.

"Penny," he breathed, stomach clenching. She was here. Why was she here? That had to be good, right?

She looked so amazing.

He blinked. "Uh, hi," he said.

Sheldon shook his head, horrified at the prospect of him doing something he'd normally do on Thursday on a Wednesday.

"Hi Billy," she said, giving him a small smile.

Sheldon looked over at them and noticed Billy blinking more than before.

"I noticed that you seem to be blinking a lot. Your eyes are probably dry. I'd recommend optrex to rehydrate your eyes," he said.

Billy stared at her for a couple of seconds, wanting to say a million different things but not sure if he should say any of them.

Sheldon's voice shook him out of his daze and he blinked, and then paused, realising what Sheldon had just said. Was he blinking more? Okay, now he was super aware of that.

"Uhh, come in," he said, stepping aside.

"Uhm, Penny, this is Sheldon, he's my new roommate. Sheldon, this is Penny."

He blinked again. Damnit, why had Sheldon pointed that out?

	She walked inside and smiled at Sheldon. "Hi Sheldon, nice to meet you," she said, giving him a smile. "Thank you. And it's Dr Sheldon Cooper," he said. "Okay, nice to meet you, Dr Sheldon Cooper," she said. He looked over at Billy. "Well, she seems a much more acceptable Penny to Leonard's." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Billy looked at Sheldon. Well, he didn't seem to like Leonard's Penny, so that was a compliment. He gave Sheldon a small smile.

He blinked - he had to stop doing that - and looked at Penny. Why was she here? She obviously wanted to talk to him about something, but what? He really wanted to hope it was a good thing, but he didn't know if he should.

Whatever she had to say, she wasn't going to say it with Sheldon here. He gave him a look, really hoping he'd get the hint and give them some space to talk.

Billy returned the smile, nervously.

He glanced back at Sheldon, he was sitting down. Of course he didn't get the hint, Billy should have known he wouldned.

He blinked. "Um, we could - um, go to my room," he said. He walked over to the door and paused, it was probably a mess.

"Actually, can you just - just give me one sec," he said.

He gave her a nervous smile and blinked before he opened the door to his room, ducking inside and throwing the sheets on the bed, gathering up his clothes and shoving them in the closet.

He opened the door when he was done. It wasn't perfect, but it was neater than before.

"Sorry," he said, stepping aside to let her come in.

He was a little breathless from the frantic tidying, and also because Penny was in his bedroom, and that was kind of ... terrifying.

	"It's alright," she said. "You told me in the end." She took a step closer to him. "It's not okay," she said, quietly. She hadn't stopped thinking about him since he'd told her and it wasn't Dr Horrible she'd thought about. It was Billy. Her Billy. "I'm still not sure I understand it. But I need to know something. He looked at her when she stepped closer.

"Yeah," he said. "Of course - I am your Billy. I'm - All of that was true, everything I told you. About liking you but not being able to work up the courage to talk to you..."

He sighed and glanced down. "I actually - I thought you'd be impressed by Dr Horrible. That if I became someone, you'd notice me, and-" He sighed.

He swallowed, looking up at her. "I'm really sorry. But I really do care about you. I l - I like you, a lot. I don't ever want to hurt you, and I'm so sorry I did..."

She stepped closer again and brushed her fingers over his cheek.

"It's alright," she said, softly. "I noticed you," she said, a little shyly. She remembered the first time she'd seen him in the laundromat. She'd thought he was really cute and she'd been so nervous at the idea he'd talked to her.

She met his eyes, hoping he'd understand why she'd never said anything to him.

"I... I never stopped thinking about you. And there's something I have to tell you too."

His eyes drifted closed when she touched his cheek.

He opened them, looking at her, stunned. "You did?" he asked. "Really?"

He nodded slightly, he understood why she didn't say anything. It wasn't like he had said anything, either.

"Me either," he said. "I mean, I haven't stopped thinking about you, I never stop thinking about you-"

Okay, that sounded a little creepy.

He looked confused. "There is?" he asked, he had no idea what she could have to tell him.

	He made a noise kind of like a whimper when she kissed him. Oh, he had missed this. He stepped closer to her as he kissed her back, bringing his other hand up to cup her face, hands sliding back into her hair. It felt so good between his fingers he moaned softly against her lips.
