Who: Shiloh and OTA
What: Her arrival
Where: near the library
When: evening
Rating: TBD

Shiloh watched Amber's press conference from afar. She didn't dare go near the crowd. Everyone either saw what happened at the opera or heard from someone else. Shiloh didn't want to deal with that mess. She hadn't found a decent place to live yet. Returning home after the opera was hard for her because too much of it filled her with too many conflicting emotions. Anger with her father for lying all these years--she found his area behind the fireplace where he kept his Repo uniform as well as a dead body proving it all real--sadness for the death of someone she loved, and worry for what the future will bring now that the company was in Amber's, clearly uncapable, hands. She did wonder though how hard Amber had to fight her brothers for that title. The title that technically should be going to her. But Shiloh didn't want it. She didn't want to have other's lives in her hands. To say yes or no to a human's death?

Shiloh shook her head at the thoughts trying to empty her mind of them. She looked up at Amber, that fake smile seemed stapled to her face. It was disgusting. Yes...more than her brothers'. One whose rage consumed him enough to kill for fun and the other who loved to wear other's faces. Not surgically but through stretching the skin and holding it down. Shiloh made a face at them. Clearly they learned nothing from their father's mess.

Not sure how much more she could take of listening to Amber's lies--though the bit about offering her fallen face to charity was interesting--Shiloh turned away to talk to find the Graverobber. She hadn't seen him since before the opera and wondered if he made it out of the mess alright. Perhaps he knew of someone who could help take her in. However when she turned down an alley the darkness consumed her and suddenly she found herself standing in a...library?

Wide-eyed and confused Shiloh stared at the many books around her. She began to approach a shelf when suddenly someone grabbed her, yelled, and threw her out of the building. She scrambled to her feet and tried to yell at the people who grabbed her, but they were gone. All that was left was a some sort of communicator. On edge, Shiloh picked it up, what had she gotten into now?

It was getting dark, so The Graverobber decided to get out of that oddball of a room of his and explore. Why he was actually staying in his assigned room now was still a mystery, perhaps because it wasn't full of all those nonsensical modern gadgets that he saw no use for anymore. Or maybe a change of scenery was in order. Either way, he was staying there, even if his clothes and some of his belongings had disappeared when the city had changed into this dark little village.

His long leather duster had been replaced with a long brown coat made of a soft fabric. His boots were also brown. Whoever was running this place, while obviously possessing a sense of humor, had still seen fit to give him village garb that somewhat matched his regular clothes. He was already looking a little dingy, but he liked it that way.

Eventually he found himself near the library again. He was interested in what went on in there and if there were any books with writing in them. However, he had never managed to get back inside. Oh well. It really wasn't that important, he supposed. He was fine no matter where he was.

He found himself instantly curious when he heard someone getting dumped out of the building again. Upon closer inspection, the Graverobber's eyebrows shot up. Was that? Well, shit. Look who it was. His lips turned up in what could either have been a mischievous grin or a soft smile. With his face, it was difficult to tell.

"Hey, kid," he murmured, coming closer to the girl.

Shiloh felt a wave of relief rush over her at the familiar voice. That voice always managed to pull her out of a rough spot or two in the past. She managed to climb to her feet and turn around to face him.

"Hey." she quietly returned as she pushed some strands of wig hair out of her face. Being thrown out of the library had managed to toss it all over. When pushing strands didn't do much, Shiloh reluctantly took it off and shook it a couple off times before placing it on her head again.

Now that all of the hair was out of her eyes she was able to fully see The Graverobber. It was still the same man but the clothes were a bit different than she had grown used to, "You look...different." was all that she managed to come up with on the matter.

Having someone she knew made the situation a little bit easier but not any less confusing or strange. "What happened now?" she asked as she bent down to collect her things, which thankfully the men who threw her out of the library didn't take away.

The Graverobber merely shrugged when she mentioned that he looked different. When he'd first found out about the big switch in location (and apparently time period), he'd been rather miffed. But now he was over it. It was just another thing. "Apparently whoever brought us here has a sense of humor," he commented easily, as if he were commenting about the weather.

"As for what happened, I can tell you what I know, but that may not seem like much for once." He simply stood with his hands clasped behind his back as he began his tale. "You see, we seem to have been brought to some kind of holding place, if you will. A prison that looks like a city. You can't leave. Many have tried. I, myself, have not, but considering the amount of bitching I've heard about being stuck, I'm apt to believe it. There are people here from different places and times. It sounds strange, but really, after all you've seen, I'm sure you can believe it more easily than most."

He smiled again then, stepping a little closer to the girl. "But I'd be careful if I were you. There's different kinds of crazy here than you're used to."

Shiloh made a face, a sense of humor? That was just lovely. In all honesty she had seen worse temperments and worse humors, she was just never a big fan of any of them.

She held on to the strap of her bag as he told her what he knew. Shiloh had always trusted The Graverobber. It did sound strange and honestly it sounded like something he simply made up on the spot. However, he had yet to lie to her and she doubted he would start anytime soon. Shiloh nodded in response. "Why would anyone want us here?" she asked, "What are we to them?"

At his warning she tilted her head a little. "Crazier than zydrate addicts, Pavi and Luigi, and repo men running loose?" Shiloh couldn't believe that part. She shrugged finally, "So now what? I'm supposed to just continue living here like nothing happened?"
