Merlin had tried to keep busy and his mind off things since Colligo did its whole time warp thing. He set to exploring just like he'd done before, and while this version wasn't as exciting he had no problems with it. The way these people lived was closer to life back home then the other city was. The clothing was a bit odd, there were none of the conveniences like refrigerators or washing machines, but they would certainly manage just fine. He was on his way to see about the clothing problem now actually, with a set of Arthur's, Morgana's, and his own clothes folded up in a box to be brought to the tailor with more to follow if the alterations turned out right. He'd also have to ask Gwen if she wanted her dressed changed, but he supposed he would just wait and show her Morgana's finished dress later.
None of that was really the problem. Merlin sat down in the middle of the little field, his kitten meowing and swiping its claws at the sheep grazing around them from the crook of Merlin's arm. He had refused to let the kitten out of his sight since showing up here. It was the only thing that had been left of all his things. Pendragon, the clothes, and his money in the bottom of the trunk...Everything else was gone. The birthday gifts he'd gotten from Arthur and Conner, Severus' books that he'd been saving in case he showed up again, and all the little things he'd saved from Christmas (some of which became the last of Lancelot's things he had since his friend disappeared as well)...They'd been important. Especially the things that had belonged to his missing friends. And now he was living with Morgana, Arthur, and Gwen. Which wasn't a totally bad thing it was just --
"Do you think I could magic things back, Pendragon? I can mess with time. Just two or three weeks back would be great. What do you think?" The kitten turned it's head and stared up at him, offering a small meow that was apparently a good enough answer for Merlin. He didn't think he could do it anyways, he was able to slow down time, not reverse it. He leaned back against a little tree, and let the cat down so it could run around a bit, never going too far from Merlin.
