Billy sat at a table in the cafeteria, eating his lunch. He'd been working at a lab on campus for a little over a week now. It was boring, routine work, but he needed the money.

And it gave him access to lab equipment. He hoped that in a little while he'd be able to sneak one or two of his own experiments in. For now, though, he was laying low.

He ate his lunch, hunched over his tray and seemingly lost in his own world.
