Lucas finished setting the table and checked the turkey in the oven. It was almost done.

He walked over to Brooke and wrapped his arms around her, brushing his lips against hers.

"Merry Christmas," he murmured. "Thank you so much for the presents. You're amazing."

He pulled back and smiled at her.

"Rachel should be here soon. It must be nice for you, having her here," he said.

"That's if Brooke doesn't turn the baby into a cheerleading fashion magnet first," the redhead chuckled, running a hand through her hair. But when Brooke mentioned food, Rachel grinned and nodded emphatically. Food was the whole reason she enjoyed the holidays... and the presents, of course.

	"Or she," he said, smiling at Brooke. "My baby girl would learn how to play too." "Yes, lets," he said, kissing Brooke's forehead before he walked over to the table. He sat down and served them all food. He couldn't stop looking over at Brooke and smiling. He couldn't remember the last time he'd felt this happy. (Reply to this) (Parent)
