Penny walked away from the library she'd somehow ended up in. She had no idea where she was or how she'd ended up here. The guards had not been helpful as they brought her out of the library, but they were clearly just doing their job.

She'd been given a PDA. She'd never seen one before. It wasn't the type of thing she could afford or was interested it. It didn't help a starving child or give a person a warm bed to sleep.

She'd also been given $100 to spend. It was more money than she'd ever had to spend on herself. Maybe this was a better place. She wasn't sure.

She wandered along the streets, trying to find the building the PDA had told her she was staying, maybe she'd get some answers there.

Billy shoved his hands deeper into his pockets. It was cold out. He'd never seen this much snow in real life, but he was starting to get used to it.

He was bundled up as he walked around the city. He needed some fresh air, he was having trouble with the transmatter ray. He couldn't work out what had caused the molecules to shift, so he didn't know where he'd gone wrong.

He was lost in thought, so he didn't notice her until he had bumped right into her.

"Oh, sorry," he mumbled quickly, glancing up at the person he'd just walked right into.

"Aaaghh!" he said, eyes bugging. Oh, God, it was her. She was here.

And all he could do was stare at her in shock.

She rubbed her arms as she walked. It was much colder than LA and she wasn't wearing warm clothes.

Someone bumped into her and apologized and she smiled warmly. "It's alright," she said, kindly.

She looked at the person. It was Billy, from the laundromat. She was so relieved to see a familiar face.

"Billy," she said, stepping closed and hugging him tight. She was so glad that she knew someone in this strange place.

He blinked, oh, wow, she was here, Penny was here.

And... it seemed like she was kinda happy to see him. Which he would have been really excited about, but it kind of was hard to think about anything because she was stepping closer and closer and oh God she was hugging him.

Penny was hugging him. Her arms were wrapped tight around his waist and her head was right at his shoulder and oh, wow, her hair smelled incredible.

He brought his hands up tentatively to hug her back. His eyes drifted closed as he held her against him. This was probably all a dream but even if it was, it was the best dream he'd ever had.

Billy opened his eyes, blinking almost straight away. He swallowed. Speech. He was going to need to work out how to do that again.

He cleared his throat, blinking again as he moved his hands from her back.

"Uh, it's a city called Colligo, and people just - get brought here, no one knows why. Or how," he said. "It's really ... weird. And, uh, we can't. Get back, I mean. If you try to leave you end up back in the library..."

He swallowed and blinked, looking at her. "So, did-did you just get here?" he asked.

He looked up at her when she touched his chin, finding it really hard to breathe. He smiled softly, looking into her eyes.

His stomach clenched at the thought of Captain Hammer taking her out on dates and ... stuff.

"Wow," he said. "That's too bad," he added, trying to sound sincere. There was nothing bad about her being on a different planet that Captain Hammer right now.

He blinked, glancing down again. He realised her arms were bare, she'd come from LA and it was really cold here. "Uh, here," he said, taking off his coat and handing it to her. "It's uh, cold," he said, blinking again.

	She smiled at him and he felt warmer than he had before he took off his coat. He still couldn't believe she was here. And she was talking to him. He nodded. "Yeah, I know where it is. 	She moved closer to him, and his mind was racing. He still couldn't believe she was here let alone that she'd hugged him and was happy to see him and was standing all close to him. Her fingers felt cool against his skin, but he knew that wasn't the reason he shivered. He looked back at her, right into her eyes. They were so pretty up this close. he smiled softly.

His throat felt all tight, he could barely breathe, but it felt so perfect he didn't care.

He swallowed and blinked, looking ahead because he didn't want to trip over something which would be typical him.

He was equally relieved and disappointed to see the building ahead of them. Walking with her like this was amazing but he didn't know how long he could do this without making a complete idiot of himself. He was dangerously close to hyperventilating.

"Uh, there's building C," he said, pointing down the street.

He took back his coat, smiling and blushing even more.

"Oh, it was nothing," he said, trying his best to go for cool and calm.

She moved closer again, and he thought she was going to hug him again and was just steeling himself for that when her lips brushed against his cheek.

His breath hitched and he felt his skin burn.

"You-" he started, but he had to clear his throat before he could finish because his voice sounded kind of squeaky. "Uh, you too," he said, smiling at her.

She walked away and he stood, frozen to the spot on the pavement. She walked into the building and he took a giant gulp of air. His head spun from the sudden rush of oxygen. His hands gripped his coat and he turned and leaned back against the wall for support.

Penny. Here. And she'd talked to him and smiled at him and - she'd kissed him.

He grinned and let his head fall back against the cold brick. Wow.

He didn't know how long he stood there, dazed, before he realised he was cold and standing in the street like - well, like an idiot.

He shook himself, pushing away from the wall and slipping his coat back on. He paused, just a couple of steps down the street, and sniffed.

His coat smelled like her. He grinned even wider, wrapping the coat around his body as he walked down the street, towards building D.
