Brooke was still sick. Some days it wasn't so bad, but today she felt really, really bad. She was really tired of feeling this way.

Or maybe she was just tired. She was always tired, work really was crazy. But today, she'd called in sick because she couldn't stand up without wanting to throw up and getting really dizzy.

She was curled up on her couch, watching 'The Wizard of Oz.' And she really was exhausted because she was actually tearing up at the ending.

She curled against him, being near him made her feel a little better.

The weepiness was weird. But she did have days like that every now and then. It was probably PMS or something. Actually... yeah, she probably was due some of that right about now.

She furrowed her brow, calculating it. She was actually a little overdue... Maybe a little more than a little.

Oh, well, better late than ... never. Something settled in the pit of her stomach, a niggling realisation.

She shook herself. Nah, she couldn't be...
