What: Brotherly Reunion
When: Today @ 3
Where: The coffee shop
Rating/Warnings: PG-13 - Possible language.. might be a bitter meeting
Status: Not sure if open or not.. thoughts Nathalie?

Wyatt had been walking around all morning because he wanted to get used to the area he was in and if he got lost he could always orb back to his room. His roommate had powers of her own, so she hopefully wouldn't get too freaked out over a display like that. He didn't know what to think about the version of his brother that was here, but being himself, he needed to get things done and out of the way. He wasn't one to wait on anything, not even if he should.

He arrived at the coffee shop a bit early and sat down on one of the couches near the door. He was a little nervous, but he wasn't even sure if he should be. It was Chris, for Pete's sake! Even if he did attack, it wasn't like he was any match for his big brother, and Wyatt wasn't about to fight back to any extent that the evil version of him would have. He sat there for a few minutes until a waitress came up to him to ask what he wanted. He ordered what he would have gotten if it were the place he went to back home.

The only Chris was doing this was for his family. His non-evil family. It didn't take a genius to realize how much Mel would love for her big brother's to get along. And while he still gripped that she irritated him, which she did ... God, it was like she was made to be annoying (Chris wasn't used to it quite yet), she'd gotten under his skin pretty quickly. She was his little sister and he wanted her to be happy. Even if it meant he had to curb the need to clock Wyatt.

He knew that his brother wasn't evil. Logically. However, that didn't stop him from recalling everything his brother had done to him, the world, and the people they cared about. He just ... couldn't forget it all because Wyatt was "good". But he ...

He'd figure things out. He always did.

Wyatt was already there when Chris approached. He had to take a calming breath, before walking into the shop and towards this ... version of his brother.

Wyatt was just getting his drink when Chris came in. He could tell by the look on his brother's face that he wasn't in the best of moods, but he couldn't help thinking, It's just Chris. What's the worst that could happen? So he stood up and took a few steps toward his brother, extending his arms out for a hug. They were a hugging family and they always had been, so it was a little hard for him to see his brother and not have the instinct to hug as a greeting.

As his arms were out, he smiled. He was trying to make his brother smile, and usually this did the trick. Unfortunately, he was forgetting about the fact that this wasn't the brother he knew, and the things he thought he knew about his brother might not be so true for this one. "Get over here, you grump."

When Wyatt stood up and began to move his arms, Chris automatic response was to step back. Actually Chris' automatic response was to move his own arms and send his brother flying throw a window with telekensis. However, he had not done that. He wanted to but he didn't. It took a lot of his will not to give into that. Because the Wyatt he knew didn't come towards him for hugs or call him a grump.

Which he wasn't by the way. He wasn't. He was acting exactly the way someone would act if they were facing someone who looked just like someone who had made their entire life miserable. In more ways than most could ever imagine.

It took Chris a while to process what was happening; however, his brain managed to assess quick enough (after the momentary small shock and major confusion) what it was Wyatt wanted and was trying to do.

Was he insane? Chris was pretty sure that Wyatt knew which dimension he was from. Yet here the idiot was asking him to hug him of all people.

"Tell me you're not serious." Chris gave him one last look of 'you're a complete moron' before sliding into the chair. "And if you try to touch me I will stab you with that person's fork right there." He gestured towards a fork with his eyes and a slight tilt of a finger. Chris mighn't have been as powerful as Wyatt but he had power. What more he had precision. He'd do it. Try and hug him? God. Wow. Wyatt was delusional no matter what the verison. "So you wanted to talk?" He looked up at the other male with a bored expression. "I haven't got all day."

Wyatt noticed the step back and and with the first words from his brother, the realization that he was from the other timeline came right back to him. His face fell and he dropped his arms to his sides. "Oh, right, sorry." He definitely wasn't expecting that, but he knew he should have been. When Chris sat down and threatened him with the fork, Wyatt couldn't help but crack a half-smile. He could tell that Chris was completely serious, but that was Chris, even this one. He sat down in the seat had been sitting in and looked over at his brother.

"Yeah. Sorry." Shaking his head a second to get his head straight. "You're from the timeline where I'm evil." The words were a bit forced because there was the start of a buzzing in his head. He squinted his eyes like he had a headache, which he never got unless there was a charge around. "Damn buzzing." He tried to ignore it for a second so he could do what he came there to do. "I'm from Mel's timeline. Just wanted to make that clear. Maybe you'll get to see what you did in saving me from that. Mom and Dad told me it was you." Then his eyes closed again as the buzzing got louder. He brought a hand to the side of his head hoping that might make it feel a little better. How could he have a charge, here?

"Yeah. I know." Was all Chris said to the statement to the obvious. And there were a lot of things to notice .. why was it when Halliwells were evil they had more hair? Or at least the males in his family. His mind flashing to the evil versions of himself and their father.

The fact that Wyatt had apologised in the first place, and a completely non-mocking or condescending manner, is something that Chris actually picked up on. And that was weird for him. However, he didn't make note of it in anywhere other than his own thoughts.

Two things caught Chris attention. First his comment about the buzzing which, Chris could have easily dismissed if his attention hadn't been snagged and caught by the rest of what Wyatt had said. His surprise was obvious. He hadn't expected anyone to say anything about what he'd done. It wasn't ... it was what had to be done. He was a Halliwell it was what they did. And there was ... well, at the end of the day Wyatt was his brother. He'd wanted him to be not .. evil. Chris wasn't digger deeper into the feeling beyond that.

Chris wasn't quite sure what to say but luckily there was else happening that he could comment on. Wyatt had a charge here? First that was, of course he does too. Bet HE doesn't let his charge get hurt. Which was followed quickly by ... Wyatt actually had a charge. Which caused Chris to frown slightly. "Yeah. We get charges here." Was all he said. Mister Helpful he was not. But hey, .. at least he threw the dog a bone there. Instead of letting walk around for days trying to figure it out.

Wyatt put his hand to his forehead as he leaned on the arm to the chair he was sitting in. The buzzing in his mind was getting to him. He had never been very good at ignoring it, and he had never really tried because he was alwasy willing to help, but here he wanted to make things right with Chris, not go orbing all over this new world lookin for this charge. He didn't even notice the surprise on his brother's face until he opened his eyes again. When Chris spoke about being able to get charges in this place he rolled his eyes. "Great..." That one word being in his most sarcastic tone.

He sat up, accepting that it wasn't going away until he found whoever his new charge was. He looked at his brother, wanting to get off the subject of timelines and evil, so he stayed with charges. "Yeah, I heard you had one already"

Chris' lip quirked just the tiniest of bits. That had been his sentiment exactly. However, that diminished greatly-the tiny smile-over the fact that Wyatt hadn't had to deal with Aunt Paige and Aunt Billie talking to him about responsibilities and not ditching his charge. Chris had the small thought that Paige would have liked to meet non-evil Wyatt. Yes, fine Chris was convinced. That didn't mean he was hugging this one or even ... liking him any time soon.

There was an immediate defensiveness. That was a protectiveness from both accounts. Whitelighter and Boyfriend. Yes, he didn't think Wyatt was evil but that didn't mean he trusted him. Anyone could have told Wyatt about Peter, and he trusted his aunt Prue, Claire, and Mel enough not to go beyond telling him that he was his charge. Still didn't mean he wasn't a bit annoyed with them (likely the last two) for telling Wyatt anything in the first place. Not that Claire knew the sordid details. However, with Chris' annoyance that didn't matter. Much. "Yeah, Peter. I've had him for," Five months come the twenty-sixth, he thought to himself. "a few of months now."

Chris paused and then said, "You can go and find your charge if you want. That buzzing looks like it's a pain in the ass." Was he smirking? Just a bit.

Merlin was pretty sure that hot chocolate was the best thing ever created. He'd had it almost every day since discovering the coffee shop. Coffee had naturally his first choice, until it made him entirely too awake for the rest of the night, and didn't taste anywhere near as good. He was nursing a cup of the delicious drink, and fumbling a bit with a couple bags. Eventually he just let them go, the plastic bags stayed a bit more rigid then they ought to, and landed almost perfectly on the ground beside his chair as he sat down. Sitting not far from Wyatt and Chris at all, close enough that the apples he bought could roll from the bag to the pairs' feet. He was to busy enjoying the wonders of hot chocolate, and looking on the network for anything more about his friends. Severus, who was in the hospital. Gwen, who had been let out. Morgana and Arthur were no doubt more occupied with Gwen. Lancelot was quiet as ever...

"What? No! No, I don't want Tee-Tris." He grumbled, prodding different keys in attempt to exit out of the Tetris game he still couldn't figure out, or understand why it kept opening up when he was trying to just post something up on the network. He still didn't understand a lot of things in this place, even though he adapted well enough so far. "I don't even know what this is."

Wyatt looked over at his brother and narrowed his eyes in an expression of annoyance at his last statement. He didn't want to go looking for a charge that would be tons of work anyway, though he knew more than anyone that he couldn't ignore them. "You're enjoying this a little too much, aren't you?" It was definitely something he would have said to the Chris he knew, because the Chris he knew would have done exactly the same thing to him as this one had. Something never change.

Then an apple rolled over and hit his foot, which made him look down at it, then around to see where it had come from. As soon as he laid eyes on the younger man sitting a chair close by them, the buzzing ceased. He made a nod over in the direction of the man for Chris' benefit, just to let him know that he must have been his charge, then picked up the apple and looked over at the boy. "Hey, is this yours? .... and I think you mean Tetris.."

Merlin stopped poking at the different buttons and smiled up at Wyatt, looking curiously to the apple for a minute, and back down to his bag. He nodded and put the fruit back in the bag with a small thank you. He tied off the top of the bag to keep it from spilling again, and offering up the PDA. He'd helped with the apples so the stranger would naturally be kind enough to help with the odd game, right? "Tetris." Merlin repeated. "I don't know what it's for. Do you know how to make it go away?"

He'd tried removing the game from his PDA all together, but that hadn't worked as well as he'd hoped. It just ended up making the device freeze up on the tetris screen. "It keeps popping up. I can usually make it go away if I press enough buttons. Other things will appear instead."

"I think I'm enjoying this the right amount." Chris' smirk widened slightly, and just the tiniest bit of tension seemed from him. Wyatt mocking had always been his favorite pastime. The situation might be different, the Wyatt might be different, but enjoying that would never change. The familiarity was necessary and .. well, familiar now.

Chris looked down at the apple who had rolled their way and looked up towards where it had come from. There was too ways this could go. Chris could continue in his little brother inferiority complex that always liked to shine through because of who the person was. Chris noticed the slight easing on Wyatt's features. He'd watched his older brother enough times to know most of his facial expression (made for easier living). And the look of being relaxed from pain was an easy enough one. So Chris guessed that this was the charge. Merlin was Wyatt's charge.

And there was the other way. Chris could be amused. He went with the other way. Because in his opinion his charge was pretty awesome. And since he really didn't want another one, not even the great Merlin himself as a teenager, jealousy and inferiority were not forthcoming. In fact, Chris' smirk went even wider.

The Camelot bunch was a tight nit group. All five of them. And Chris noticed that under all the mocking that Arthur was protective of his ... manservant. Wyatt was not going to have an easy time of it and that made Chris really happy. And it really amused him the possible ways that this could go. "Here." Chris held out his hand. "Let me fix it." This entire situation had just put him in a rather good mood.

Wyatt noticed his brother's expression change to even more enjoyment at the recognition that this man was his new charge and it only made Wyatt wonder, What don't I know, Chris? He also knew that he would not get a warning from his little brother. He wouldn't even if this was the Chris he knew. Sure, they were close, but they baited and made fun of each other all the time like most sets of brothers always did. This was going to be fun.

As Chris reached out to help him with the PDA, he reached out his own hand for a greeting of a handshake with the man. "He can definitely fix that. I'm Wyatt. This is my brother, Chris. That's just a game, though. Pretty easy to play if you wanted to learn sometime." He wondered what kind of charge he would be. A future whitelighter? or a magical charge?

Merlin glanced between the two older males, deciding this was a little friendlier then he expected. Most would just exit out of the game for him, and be on their way. Not that he was ever adverse to meeting new people. Rising to his feet, he took Wyatt's hand, and shaking it politely. He ended up shaking his head quickly at the idea of learning the game. Usually he was all for learning new things, but that game was just irritating at this point. "No. I really just want it to go away. It's really weird."

Chris looked familiar, Merlin was pretty sure he'd seen him around at some point, and he looked particularly pleased with this whole situation. It was a little odd, like they knew something he didn't. A little creepy. "I'm Merlin, nice to meet you both."

Easily enough Chris finagled with a few buttons and fixed what was the problem, closing Tetris from the screen. "Applications tend to show up like that. It's one of the fun things of having a couple of buttons all keyed into the same thing." He said as he returned the PDA to it's owner. There was a hit of dry sarcasm in Chris' tone. It never ceased to annoy him that when he'd press button, wanting something, the stupid phone would give him something else. Because he didn't press quickly enough or whatever.

When Merlin introduced himself Chris was watching Wyatt and noticed how his eyes widened. Merlin was deemed as a hack by a few of the wizards in their world. Then again most of the wizards that Chris had ever met were evil ... so no real basis for judgement. Merlin seemed pretty cool, as a person if not in magical capabilities. Still all that aside, Chris was looking forward to a Wyatt and Arthur meet-up. He just hoped he wasn't stuck around for that. The amount of ego would put him in a bad mood and quick. "I'm Chris, I think I saw you around on the boards before." He didn't bother introducing Wyatt. Because he just didn't ... He never did. And even if he did, what would he introduce him as? His brother? While Chris would NEVER admit that he thought of Wyatt that way, even when he'd been evil. Because ... he was. Wyatt was his older brother. For better or for worst. Nevertheless, saying that now might give the older male the wrong idea.

Wyatt couldn't help but be surprised at the name his new charge had given him, and he had to do everything not to drop his jaw at the shock. Merlin? Merlin, was his new charge? He couldn't believe it, though he wasn't sure about Merlin as a wizard. He had always heard he was overrated, or that he never even existed. Clearly, since Wyatt was looking straight at him, he existed, and he must need some sort of guidance to be assigned to Wyatt as his charge. A magical charge. Wyatt hadn't had one of those... ever. The elders never wanted to give a witch a whitelighter that was more powerful then they were, because the job of the whitelighter was to guide, not to overshadow. Were the elders even around here? Or were the charges assigned at random? He didn't understand it, but all this was going through his head all through this small moment between the time Merlin introduced himself, and when he dropped his hand to speak.

"I just got here myself, but if you need any help with that thing again, just ask." He needed to get the magic out in the open. So Merlin would know that they had it too and that they knew he had some as well, even though he was sure that he had probably been told that he's a legendary wizard by now. He glanced down at the table for just a second to see a drink on the side of it. He didn't know if it was Merlin's or not. He hoped not, but instinct is the best way to get powers out in the open the fastest. He flicked his finger ever so slightly and knocked the drink over and into the floor, hoping Merlin would use some sort of powers to keep it from hitting the floor.

"Hello." He offered Chris a small nod in greeting while Wyatt just stared at him oddly. Was that it? They recognized him, and that is why they were acting so strangely? Maybe they were expecting the old man Merlin would become; Chris was entertained by his being young, while Wyatt was shocked or confused. He'd gotten all sorts of reactions since coming here.

"Oh, well thanks. I'll keep that -- Hey!" Merlin jumped when all of a sudden Wyatt moved, and his drink toppled over. His delicious hot chocolate heading right towards the floor! Very very uncool. His eyes flashed gold for an instant, time slowing around him enough for him to right the cup, and send the drink back into it. Merlin grabbed the drink, and stepped back from the two.

"What was that for?" They could've just said so, in his opinion. He'd met other sorcerers here, they didn't have to make a show of it knocking his drink over. Merlin didn't really think twice about using his magic here anymore, not needing to keep it secret, and likewise no one really noticed. If anyone saw the drink tip, spill, and rewind -- No one else said anything.

Chris was of the same opinion-unknowingly-as Merlin. He had stared at the older Halliwell male towards his entire 'if you ever need anything', trying to realize if he was serious or if there had been a moment in their childhood where Wyatt had fallen head first. It would seem all those demon attacks had sported a different sort of trauma.

Wyatt's method sort of reminded him a bit of their dad's and that's the only thing that kept Chris from calling him an idiot. The earnest method. Except where Leo was so smooth about it, or at least in Chris' opinion now. Chris felt that Wyatt was ridiculously cliched. Like something he'd read from a Hallmark card and had been reciting it since. And then when he knocked the chocolate over, all Chris could do was roll his eyes.

What was so hard about saying. I can do magic, you can do magic. Fine don't believe me? Too bad. Not that difficult. And they'd discuss it where there weren't a bunch of people. The look Chris' gave Wyatt said JUST how much he thought that was a bad move, arms crossed, he turned his focus on Merlin. Looking very vaguely sympathetic. He wasn't sure what was worse. Wyatt trying to kill you? Or Wyatt trying to help you. "I'm sorry. He's an idiot." Was all he could say. He wasn't so much apologizing for Wyatt, though he was sorry about Merlin's drink, but for being currently associated with him.

When Merlin fixed his drink around all the other people in the shop, not caring whether any of them saw. His mouth dropped open as he looked around at the other people, just waiting for someone to yell out How did you do that? or What the hell are you? But none of that happened. Then Chris spoke, and made him feel... so much.. worse. He hated his impulses sometimes. He thought for a second about trying to rewind time to before he tipped over the glass using his projection, but that hadn't been working the best since he had arrived, so he decided against it. He had only used it to try and get out, though.

He closed his eyes for a second, looking a bit defeated. "Sorry, I'm not used to being open about magic and I needed... I don't know what I needed." He took a deep breath and glanced at Chris for a second, giving him a look that said Thanks in the most sarcastic way possible. "Look. I'm a whitelighter and I don't know if you know what that is, but we're basically guardians.. or friends. And I think you're my new charge. Any questions? I'll answer them." And he plopped himself back down into the chair he had been sitting in, completely defeated. He always went with bluntness when his other ideas failed, and that was definitely inherited from Piper.

He's an idiot seemed like a bit of an understatement as far as Merlin was concerned. Wyatt's comments after that didn't really help Merlin's opnion of him either. Even if he did seem a little apologetic at first. What kind of greeting was that? He didn't know what a whitelighter was, and Merlin was fairly certain he hadn't been charged with anything. He had a number of questions, but really wasn't interested in sticking around long enough to ask them. The guy was a bit of a prat. Merlin got enough of that with Arthur, and at least the prince didn't go about magically knocking over his things.

"Um -- Thanks but I think I'm good. I've got to go...Go visit my friends." Merlin pocketed the PDA, and moved to scoop up his bags. As eager as he would have been normally to learn about other sorts of sorcerers, make new friends -- Well, there were plenty of other people here to talk to. Besides, who said he needed a guardian? He had Gaius back home, and why would some complete stranger want to guard him? Unless it was a trick. Either way, he was out of here, and maybe warning Arthur about them to be safe.

"It was good meeting you both." I guess. "Have a nice day..." Gripping his bags and drink, Merlin turned, eager to leave.

Chris didn't know what compelled him to do it but the words, "Wait." Came out of his mouth. "Look. I know Wyatt made a bad impression. A pretty bad one." Chris had to control himself to not give him another Look. "But I'm going to guess if dad actually let's him go out and have charges," Chris wanted to ask Wyatt if he had charges before but asking at the time wouldn't inspire confidence. Chris didn't trust Wyatt. Exactly. So he wasn't sure why he was doing it. Beyond the fact that the Wyatt Halliwell that he knew? Would never in the world look the way this one was. Would never let ANYONE see him like that. Especially not Chris. It had always been about Wyatt making sure that he knew that he would never be strong enough, would never have enough power. To save him, to stop him, to protect everyone else.

So while he might not exactly ... he wasn't sure but he did know that Merlin should at least hear Wyatt out. Then make his decisions. "that he knows what he's doing." Chris continued. "I know this might seem weird and you're probably thinking that you don't need someone to help you with your magic. I was in your place a few months ago. Except it was the other way around. I didn't want my charge. I didn't get why I would have one here of all places. But I listened to some people very important to me and .." Chris gave a slight shrug of his shoulders, there was a slight embarrassment. Mostly about being this open to a stranger and in front of Wyatt ... who by the way? So fucking owed him. "it ended up working out. I made some new friends." He fell in love. THAT was NO one's business. Especially not Wyatt's. "And I like to think I've helped Peter out with a lot. I know that I sure learned a few things. We make mistakes and Wyatt ... was probably just nervous. But at the end of the day ... he's going to try his best. Because, like my dad'd say," Oh, God he was quoting Leo ... "that's all he can do. Whitelighters ... we. Especially ones like me and .. Wyatt. We get how hard somethings might be. Get that other places things aren't that easy to be open here. Even if it's just to have someone to talk to who understands it all. Wyatt will be there. Whenever you need it. Just ... just give him a chance to explain. That's all we ask."

Wyatt... was absolutely floored that Chris did that for him. He couldn't believe it. He wasn't even sure if his version of his brother would do that. He would probably just watch him crash and burn, tease him about it, and then, only then, would possibly help him try to fix it. He didn't know what else he could say that would make it better, but his mouth had gotten him into enough trouble already, so he decided to keep it short. He looked over to Chris, saying a truly sincere thank you with his expression, then turned to his new charge. "Please, wait. I really am completely sorry about all of this. Start over?" Then he stuck his hand out for another handshake. Taking a deep breath, spoke again, "Hi. I'm Wyatt. Nice to meet you."

Merlin did wait because Chris, at least, didn't seem as bad. Wyatt did seem a little defeated, and his brother sounded earnest. The little speech got a few more looks from the people nearest to the three then any of their magic had. He almost wanted to just agree and play friends to quiet him down. Finally he stopped, and Wyatt tried again with a little more success. Merlin glanced at the offered hand, a little hesitant, but eventually setting his things down again to shake his hand again.

"Hi. I'll hear you out, but I really don't understand..." A white lighter, he assumed, was a type of sorcerer. It was nice they wanted to be friends, but they really didn't have to be so insistent about it. A simple introduction after helping him with the phone would have been easy enough to build on. Just mentioning they were magical would have gotten Merlin curious. The way they were going about it made Merlin feel like this was a trap.

"What is a white lighter, or a charge anyways? Why would you want to help me?" Don't get him wrong, he knew he had lots to learn about his magic, and would be smart to accept all the help he could get. Not that anything had really threatened Arthur since arriving here, and that was what his magic was meant for, right? Did this mean that would change? The idea alone was enough to make him pause. Merlin shuffled a bit, and eventually sat back down to show he really was willing to listen.

Chris noticed Merlin's hesitance and he sighed. Nevertheless he said, "Thanks."

When Merlin began his question, Chris stepped a little away from the two, brows raising in sign that said 'look at him'. Him being Wyatt. This was his responsibility. He would step up and fix this. Chris had done more than he should have. More than he consciously would have liked, only doing it because it would seem a part of him would always want to bail Wyatt out of something. There was probably more to that but .. Chris just crossed his arms and let Wyatt explain. Maybe when they started talking more he could just make his excuses and go.

Wyatt smiled when Merlin sat back down and agreed to hear him out and ask his questions. He let out a sigh of relief at the fact he would at least have the opportunity to fix his mess-up. "Thanks." He sat back down in his chair, but on the edge so he could explain a little better.

"Ok, The easiest way to describ a whitelighter is that we're kind of like guardian angels. We get assigned people to help, we call them charges. I want to help you because I know what it's like having magic and learning how to use it the right way. One thing my Aunt used to tell me all the time is that Magic may work in mysterious ways, but it always works." He cracked a bit of half smile, happy that Merlin seemed to be listening. "And if you're my new charge, there must be something I can help you with. Your magic? Anything, really."

Merlin felt a little more comfortable the second time around, and listened as Wyatt tried to explain what he was. Guardian angel didn't really clarify anything for him. Where Christianity had found its way among nobles, and the higher class -- He had been raised on an old religion, pagan with multiple deities, with spirits and fairies. "What is an angel?"

He smiled back, and wondered curiously what sort of magic a white-lighter, angel creature could teach him. "I have just been sort of teaching myself magic. I mean, it's nice if you want to help, but you really don't have to. Especially since -- well, Arthur seems safe here. Safe enough. I haven't needed to use it beyond learning for my own fun."

Merlin supposed he ought to learn as much as he could in this place, where it was safe, where there were so many people to learn from, so he'd be better prepared when they were sent back to Camelot. Still, it was nice not to have to worry about it either.

Wyatt couldn't help but smile wider when Merlin asked what an angel was. He had never met anyone who didn't know what an angel was, but then he hadn't taken into account the time that Merlin was from. "Umm.. an angel is, I guess, a being that watches over people, and helps them along thier paths. To keep them on track."

Then as he listened to Merlin's explaination of the fact that he had been teaching himself, he nodded and tried to think of the best way to say that. "In all honesty, I'm not just a whitelighter. My father was a whitelighter, and my mother was a witch, so learning magic, spells, potions. I've beent through all that with my parents. I'm also just here to be your friend if you need one." He took a second to think of some way of displaying a power. "Do you want me to show you something?" Then he looked over at Chris, "Do you have the Book here?"

"We don't have wings." Chris felt that it was very necessary to add. "There are other types of angels here with wings. And if you look it up, you'll probably here al about wings. But we don't have any."

Chris looked at Wyatt. Why the hell would he have the book here. It was kind of hard to bring the book over when one was -- it occurred to Chris that no one had told Wyatt. Then again who would tell him? Since Aunt Paige and Aunt Billie were no longer here. And he doubted that Aunt Paige had a chance to tell Aunt Prue. Chris sighed, and he actually managed to look a bit more patient since first meeting Wyatt. Likely because if Wyatt found out that Chris had been brought here post his death, he would get a big brother freak out. And that would be highly weird. And uncomfortable. "No, I don't have the Book. Aunt Paige brought it with her when she was here. It probably left with her." Then he paused, "What do you need or did you just want to show a -- " Chris was about to prove how much he was Piper's son by giving the 'we don't show the book to strangers' talk. But he caught himself in time. "to show it to Merlin?"

"I had a dragon back at Camelot who said I had a destiny, and would help me sometimes." A little bitter because the dragon hadn't exactly done it out of the goodness of its heart. Still, it had helped him save Arthur several times. Merlin also added, "He had wings."

He would look up angles later because honestly, he wasn't grasping the right concept. Humans with wings and magic, or creatures that looked human. What Wyatt was offering though, it wasn't like the Dragon. "I had Gaius too. He had a book of magic, and used to practice sorcery before Uther banned it. He would try and teach me sometimes. He mostly uses science now instead, to be safe." Gaius was the closest thing to a father and guardian he had.

Merlin watched the two of them curiously as they talked about a book, giving a small shrug. He didn't need to see their book. Chris didn't seem to keen on sharing anyways.
