Brooke let herself into Building C, feeling so relieved she was almost home. Work had been so busy and she was really tired and she really didn't feel well.

She headed to Lucas' apartment first. She really needed some cuddles. That would make her feel better.

She knocked on his door, leaning against the door frame.

Brooke woke up about an hour later. The bed felt empty, and she opened her eyes slightly to look for Lucas.

She pouted, he was gone. She glanced at the time as she sat up, yawning and stretching. She should get up and maybe try to eat something. But her work clothes felt all grubby and uncomfortable.

She grinned, glancing at the door before heading to Lucas' closet. She pulled on one of his hoodies and a pair of sweatpants before she headed out to the living area. She could smell something cooking.

"Hey," she said.

	He smiled at her when she said that. It meant a lot to him that she thought that and he knew he was falling for her again. "Likewise," he said softly. He took a bite of his food, glancing over at her as he did. He wanted to make sure she was okay. "How about after dinner I run you a nice hot bath and rub your shoulders."
