WHO: Chris and Prue Halliwell
WHAT: Bonding over coffee.
WHEN: Around 11AM
WHERE: Local coffee shop
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress

While Prue was certainly glad to be alive, she had to admit that there were things about Colligo that she just didn't like. For starters was the tendency people had for simply disappearing. It wasn't easy, forming connections with people only to find them nonexistent a few days later. And when some of those connections were family...

Well, Prue had never handled the loss of family very well. This was definitely no exception.

Which is part of the reason she wanted to meet with Chris. Yes, she knew that they were probably too much alike for a meeting to go completely smoothly between them. She also knew that, in some ways, they were so different that the same issue could occur. Yet he was family. And Prue missed spending time with those who knew her. Or who at least knew who she was.

Sitting in the coffee shop they'd decided upon, Prue's hands were wrapped around a large mug of coffee as her gaze kept sliding to the door. She had arrived a little early, to secure them a table. Not that she was rushed or anything but she was ducking out of the office a little early for this. Still. He should be there at any minute.

Granted Prue had no real idea what they were going to talk about when he got there. She was doing her best not to think too hard on it either. Not an easy task for her, by any means, but she was managing... somewhat.

"Just a little." Chris said once he was seated. If it had been ... anyone else, it probably wouldn't have been so strange. An older aunt Paige. A younger aunt Phoebe. Dad before he'd become a whitelighter. Chris would have been able to take it better. Handle it with more ... he didn't know what. Maybe less nervous? He would have been nervous, maybe, meeting his dad when he was a medic. However, he'd grown used to his father in his year and some months in the past. Not to mention he'd interacted with two versions of his father so far. The good version and the douche -- okay, okay, to be fair. The version that he'd become an elder. Which actually translated to the douche bag version. Nevertheless, like with a younger aunt Phoebe and an older aunt Paige, they all had that familiarity. He knew them. Somewhere. He didn't know aunt Prue. The elders had never allowed him to know her in his future; Chris didn't know if that changed now that he'd changed his future but as he was ... there was a lot to be nervous about. This was Prudence Halliwell. His mother and aunts eldest sister. The first powerful Charmed One, likely still the most powerful one. Not to mention she'd helped raise his mom and his aunt Phoebe.

However, just like her he was an expert at hiding his emotions. It was an unconscious thing. And given that she'd never had to lie to her entire family and succeed at it (he'll, he'd even fooled Grams. The Grams.) the chances that his calm, nonchalance succeeded were very high. Nevertheless, Chris couldn't quite help the small, uncertain smile that quirked his lips. Unsure how to tread but not wanting her to think that he was disinterested, that he didn't want to be here. He really did. And at least she wasn't some future sister that didn't exist in his version of the future. Chris didn't think that even he could go through that again. "Though that goes without saying in our family." Because hadn't she met Melinda Warren once? As extensive was Chris dealing with past family members he'd never gotten that far into the beginnings of the family line.
