Lily pushed the door shut behind them and began walking toward the kitchen, nodding her head in that direction as way of asking Harry to come along. The trip was quick. These rooms were quite nice, she would admit, but small. It was plenty for her, though. "I hope so too," she replied with a smile as she grabbed the tea kettle off the counter and put some more water into it. "I love snow. It just makes everything look... magical, if you'll pardon the pun." She put the kettle on the stove to heat up, then turned to rummage around in the cabinet for the tea bags.
Maybe this conversation would get out of the awkward stage soon, at least for awhile. She wanted Harry to be comfortable around her, even though the situation was so strange. She should have been closer to 35 in his life rather than in her early twenties. It wasn't really fair to him. Though, it wasn't fair for her to just not be there either. It was an awkward situation either way, so she figured she might as well try to make it as easy as possible.
