Gwen finished buttoning the warmest coat she could find, knowing that it would be freezing outside. She didn't have a lot of warm attire, and knew that she would enjoy searching for such things with Morgana. Plus, she hadn't seen her friend in a while and it would be nice to talk to her again. After all, she had been kept close to Arthur for a little while after they found out. She only recently managed to get him to allow her some time on her own, occasionally sleeping in her own bed. Not that she disliked Arthur curling up behind her, his arms around her, just it was nice to have her own space. And he snored. A lot.

She glanced into the mirror, sighing gently. She still looked a little pale from throwing up earlier. She felt a little woozy but she knew she would be fine, it always went away after an hour or so. She just wouldn't let it get to her. Sighing, she picked up her bag and made sure she had everything she would need whilst out. That done, she left her apartment and headed to Morgana's door, knocking on it.

Morgana didn't have any winter clothing either. The snow would have been a bit early back home and as she'd told Gwen, all that had been going on had actually managed to distract her. She was usually more ontop of things, more prepared ... in the least, she remembered when to get the winter clothing ready (or in the case of being back home, ask Gwen to do so). However, it'd completely slipped her mind here. She supposed that tended to happen, people forgetting; however, that tended to be rare for her.

Still, she didn't focus on that little thing. Looking forward to spending the day with her best friend. It was surprisingly easy for her to dress warm, as she tended to have more long-sleeved clothing than short. And she even found a few sweaters. Stylishly layering, Morgana topped off her attire with a warm enough jacket. When she heard Gwen knock, she grabbed her pursed and went to open the door for the other female.

Gwen smiled when Morgana opened the door, feeling the natural need to curtsie hit her. She had tried so hard since both Morgana and Arthur told her there was no need for such formalities but that didn't mean that her whole life's way of acting easily went away. She found herself calling Arthur 'sire' or 'my lord' still. Though only sometimes it was a mistake, earning her an eyeroll and a chuckle. Other times...well, he moaned softly against her ear when he heard it and she couldn't stop herself saying it more often in such situations.

With Morgana, she never really stopped saying things like that. She wasn't sure if she ever really stopped calling her 'my lady.' It was just natural to her after years of serving, despite the friendship they had struck up. Maybe one day she'd be able to say her name to her face rather than her title.

"My Lady. Are you ready to go?" she asked gently, hoping her paleness had disappeared.

A critical eye passed over Gwen, and for now, Morgana let the title pass. Her friend looked healthy, or as healthy as a pale pregnant woman could look and given that Morgana had little experience with pregnant women, it was saying something that she thought that Gwen looked alright enough to go out. It was on the tip of her tongue to change the entire situation to a day in, however, she knew that her friend didn't like being coddled. So she decided to pick and choose her battles. For when it got colder or something similar.

"Yes, Gwen." She said with a warm smile. Closing the door behind her, she immediately slid her arm under Gwen's in easy familiarity, and began walking with the other woman down the hall. "How are you feeling?" While she wasn't going to coddle didn't mean that she didn't want to know, that she wasn't concerned.

She saw Morgana take in her appearance and hoped that she wouldn't question her too much. She had enough from Arthur, though he had been sweet. She smiled a little at her thought before focusing on Morgana. They hadn't spent a great deal of time together recently and she couldn't help but blame herself.

She let Morgana lead them, after all that was how it always worked. Morgana would go a certain way and Gwen would be right there. Plus, it wasn't as if she could stay still with Morgana's hold on her.

"Fine, thank you," she said with a little smile. She didn't want to worry her, and it wasn't as if she could change what was happening. She was sick often and she would just have to deal with it.

Morgana gave Gwen a slightly amused but thoroughly fond look. "I'm not some stranger asking you about your day, Gwen. You're going to have to do a bit better than 'fine, thank you'. I want to know how you're really feeling." She wasn't going to press ... much. But she wanted to know. Gwen would tire herself out, could and had. And while she knew that her friend would never do anything to harm her child and could take care of herself; Morgana would have none of this making the matter seem less urgent nonsense.

She looked to Morgana at her words, feeling slightly embarrassed. She was right after all, she could tell Morgana anything. But at the same time she didn't like talking about being unwell in case it worried her, and she knew Morgana well enough to know how much of a worrier she is.

"I'm just a little ill, my Lady, nothing too serious. I have to learn to deal with it."

Morgana frowned slightly at Gwen's words but she was willing to let it go, again. She wouldn't press. "Is there anything that you could take?" She asked, as they continued walking out of the building and into the chilly weather. "That wouldn't harm the baby? It wouldn't be too much trouble at all for me to get it for you." She made sure to state it in that way.

Gwen pushed the door open, being hit by the cold. It wasn't all that bad, just a bit cooler than it had been before hand. They kept walking and Gwen listened quietly to Morgana's words before looking to her mistress.

"Perhaps. I could speak with someone."

"I believe the healers," Morgana paused and corrected herself, "the doctors of this time have come a long way. Modern medicine seems to have answers that we would have never been able to even dream of." Answers that they called science and would have easily been dismissed as witchcraft in their time. "You should set up an appointment with one, if you already have one. Have him or her track your pregnancy. I can go with you if you like." She said with a small smile. "I'd like to make sure that my friend and her baby are in the best of hands." The warmth in Morgana's tone was obvious.

Even though she hadn't been the most enthusiastic about Arthur knocking up her best friend, she was happy for the both of them. This baby would them closer. And she couldn't help, at least for the moment, but to push aside any worries or uncertainties. This would be the child of two people who meant so much to her. Of course, she was starting to look forward to it's birth and of course, she wanted to make sure it was born as healthy as possible.
