Lucas walked to Brooke' door and knocked.

He needed to get some new clothes with the $100 he'd been given and figured Brooke would know where the shops were. Plus the company would be nice.

	He smiled at when she linked her arms in his. He hadn't spent this much time alone with Brooke since they'd been dating. "So I was thinking, since I need to find a job here and pretty quick, writing and coaching will probably be out of the question. So I was going to try to find work as a mechanic. 	She followed him, guiding him to certain areas. A lot of this would look amazing on him, but she needed to focus and remember they didn't have a lot of money to play with, and they needed to be practical. 	Brooke picked out a couple of shirts and a nice pair of jeans, he'd need some good clothes for after work. She headed to the changing room just as he stepped out. She raised her eyebrow, wow, he'd filled out since high school. He looked even better than she remembered, and he'd looked good back then. "Oh, wow. Yes, definitely a yes," she said, nodding.
