Who: Andrew Wells, Echo, Dr. Claire Saunders, and Topher Brink
What: Looking for the pool and trying to figure out why she has Faith's face.
Where: Starting outside the library
When: Wednesday afternoon
Rating: Probably really low. Andrew's not a big curser and Echo's not... A bit much of anything right now.

There were times in Andrew's life that he found very, very confusing. This seemed to be one of those times.

To him, the fact that there was someone else with Faith's face was a lot weirder than the fact that he trained superwomen to take down vampires, demons, and pretty much anything that was bad. But at least where he was from there was only one person at a time with a face. Unless they were twins. Or triplets. Maybe Faith had a twin she'd never mentioned? No, Andrew quickly decided that if that was the case, Faith probably wouldn't have reacted to Echo the way she had. Unless maybe they were separated at birth? That theory could work. Maybe. Something like that, at least. So what if it was unlikely? Vampires with souls were also unlikely, but Andrew knew two of them.

Part of the reason that he'd decided to go help her find the pool was because of the fact that she had Faith's face. If she wasn't Faith's long lost twin, then there was something really weird about this situation. And that something could end up being really bad. Faith was right, this girlie could be just another big baddie, and it wouldn't be good to ignore her until her plan went into action, whatever that would be. But Andrew had also offered to help because it seemed like the girl genuinely needed help. If she wasn't a twin, and wasn't a baddie, then there was something wrong with her.

It didn't take long before Andrew got to the library, and he spotted her quickly. After all, he'd know that face anyway. "Echo?" he called out, his voice remaining calm as he approached her. He'd had to learn over the past couple years that he needed to stay calm, no matter how weird the situation. "Hi, I'm Andrew. I told you I'd help you find the pool?"

There were no suits to change into at the pool. There were towels and showers, but she was used to their being clothing for her.

Echo was starting to get confused. Nothing seemed to fit with what she remembered. But if she tried to think of why she remembered something, she found no memories to call on. Everything was new, but she still felt as if there was supposed to be something familiar, even though she had nothing to compare it to. She had maps in her head, like one does of their own apartment letting them navigate it in the dark, but they weren't of this place, or any place she could remember being.

This line of thought was starting to get Echo nervous, which in turn was heating her up, and made her want to swim even more. Since she didn't know what else to do, she simple kicked off her sandels, pulled off her shirt, and shrugged out of her pants. Now fully nude, she dove into the water and began to swim.

"I know there's some stores and stuff here," Andrew started in response to Claire talking about needing to get Echo some things. "But considering we each just got a measley hundred bucks each, that's probably not gonna get us very far." Unless there was a thrift store in town. Andrew could get some good use out of a thrift store.

He then turned to Topher and gave him a shrug. "Never had it," he said honestly, and just in time to see a naked Echo diving into the pool. "Oh man," he said, quickly looking away."

"Seriously guys, nobody ever needs to tell Faith that I saw that. Ever. She'd beat the crap out of me, and I'm so not exaggerating."

"Money isn't an issue." Claire responded, ignoring Topher completely. Her brow furrowed as she saw Echo strip down. She could see how it might be problematic in the very public area, especially with two girls who had the same body as her running around, but she knew Echo didn't know any better. The actives were programmed to be innocent. Sinless.

"Right, Faith..." She said, brushing her hair out of her face as she craned her neck to keep an eye on Echo. The pool was bigger and deeper than the one at the Dollhouse, and could potentially be a hazard. "How long have you known her?" She asked, trying to figure out a diplomatic way of going about things.

Topher's was wasn't really paying attention to what was happening around him. He rarely was. But naked girls, even naked Echo, who really didn't count as a person, kind of pinged on his radar. He whipped around and gestured frantically from Claire to Echo, who was still swimming peacefully, jabbing his outstretched hand in the active's direction.

"Can you take care of that?" he stage whispered, his voice cracking. "Like, now?"

Echo wasn't used to swimming alone. She did it sometimes, but most of the time there were others swimming with her. She knew that Topher and Saunders didn't swim, so she turned to Andrew. He had agreed to come to the pool so she thought he was going to swim with her. "Aren't you going to swim too?"

"Uh..." Andrew still wouldn't look in Echo's direction. He didn't want to run the risk of Faith coming out and thinking he was ogling her or something. Which he so wouldn't be. "No, I think I'm good," he said simply, nodding quickly as he did so.

He then turned back to Claire and bit his lip for a moment. "Yeah... so... She probably is going to need some more clothes then. Especially if she doesn't mind like, stripping down if what she's wearing doesn't suit the situation." He couldn't help it. He was amused that he used the word suit when talking about clothes, and that made him grin just a teensy bit.
