Who: Prudence Melinda and Chris
What: Sibling bonding!
When: After Chris' Entry
Where: Chris' room
Rating: Medium ish?  (TBD, but not too high, except Mellie's got a pottymouth)

Prue, or as Chris called her Mel, headed over to Chris' apartment.  She was mildly worried about her big brother, but at the same time, she was pleased that her brother had wanted to see her and she hadnt' had to surprise him.  She was still fond of her theory that he hadn't gotten enough hugs, especially if he was from the dimension with Evil Wyatt.  Prue sighed as she walked up to the door, wondering if Peter was going to be there.  She sort of felt horribly embarrassed about that whole thing.  But it was her brother's fault, she was sure of that.

Bouncing on her heels, Prue knocked on Chris' door, expectantly.  It was still odd to have to knock on a sibling's door.  She was far from knocking on Chris or Wyatt's doors back home.  Especially when they were all in the Manor.

Chris stiffened a bit before, hugging her back, for a quick moment before letting go. She was still hugging him. "You can let go now."

"I'm as fine as I was a few minutes ago. And fine, just means fine." He wasn't sure why she was so certain that 'fine' had a secret code meaning. Alright, fine, with him, it could but at the moment, fine just meant fine. He was good.

Rolling her eyes, she gave him an extra tight squeeze before letting go. "Seriously. Fine means fine but why can't it be something other than fine. I'm an English major, Chris. I nitpick words like no other."

Besides, she knew Chris. Fine usually had another meaning.

"Last I check, English majors don't psychoanalyze words. Sociology and Psychology majors do that. Fine, means all right. Would adding 'and dandy' convince you that I'm good?" He didn't know what else she wanted him to say. "Classes are fine. Things with Peter are great." Except the thing with Claude and Peter's mother and .. Chris would learn to deal. He was ... fine with the first one. He really was. And as for Peter's mother. Well, he'd learn to not want to yell at the woman for upsetting his boyfriend. "This place is .. as fine as it'll ever be. I'm fine." He stressed the word a bit.

Before hesitating and asking. "What about you?" He was concerned, and he did care.

"They do analyze them," she replied, scrunching her nose slightly. "If you add 'and dandy' I might think that you're a pod person." Prue raised her eyebrows. "Classes? What classes?" See, this was why she needed to stop talking so much and start listening and asking questions. She was glad that things were great with Peter. Her brother deserved to be happy. If she didn't suspect the great was with conditions, she would've been more happy with that, but great was a better descriptor than fine. "Fine as it'll ever be, hm?"

Prue bit her bottom lip, and shrugged after a moment. "I'm kind of pissed that I didn't manage to get to see Mom before she disappeared. This place is a bit weird. What with you not really knowing me, Aunt Paige being awesome but still, not really knowing me, Aunt Prue being around. No Wyatt or any of the cousins, or Dad or Mom or Aunt Phoebe. It's just...weird."

"There's a university here." He gave her a slightly curious look. Wondering if she didn't know about that or if she was just nosy about his classes. "You should sign up if you're interested." He wasn't her parent. He wasn't going push her into anything she didn't want. "Yeah. Something like that."

Chris' jaw flexed at the mention of Piper. At least he'd gotten to see her this time. He missed her, but at least he'd gotten to see her. "She could still show up again. So could everyone else." It was mostly stating logic, but it was said in an attempt to cheer her up. "And I might not be your Chris ... put I'm still your brother." There. He'd said it.

"No, I saw that," she rolled her eyes. "Besides, I was in the middle of taking my last final when I ended up here. I think I need a minor school break. At least until next semester, if I'm still around then. I meant what classes are you taking."

Prue looked up at her brother. It was true. She could show up again. With everyone else. She couldn't help but break into a grin at his last statement. Of course she'd been thinking it the entire time, but it was nice to know that he had thought it as well. "Thanks, Chris." Prue resisted the urge to just hug her brother again. Sure, he needed more hugs, but she would ease him into it.
