This was the epitome of a win-lose situation. On one hand, Jack got to see Ianto in jeans a bit more often. On the other, however, he no longer got to look at his lover cut a dapper figure in a suit. Yes, he just used the word 'dapper'. As far as plans went, Jack was fairly certain that Ianto would enjoy this one. And, worst case, they'd wind up back at the flat sooner rather than later.
"Everything's fine," Jack shouted in response. "Promise. And really, I'm not lying this time either." Rising from his perch, Jack crossed the flat to their room, leaning casually against the doorframe as he watched Ianto change. While he did miss Gwen terribly, it also was nice to have a place just to themselves. Jack also realised just how 'coupley' that sounded. Bugger.
"Good day at the office, honey?" Jack intoned, wearing a smirk. "Sorry, but there's no supper on the stove. You know how I hate being a kept woman."
