Castiel was not angry at her question. Instead it elicited a little smile. His whole demeanour changed as he relaxed and pulled back the muscles of his face to animate his features rather than simply move them. “God is wise, loving and kind. God is forgiving, whimsical and very good at Skeeball. He took my hand when I was afraid and said my name with love. God is gentle and fierce, protective and angry, God is what He needs to be but he always acts out of love. He is here, you know. In this place is where he took my hand.”
His manner became more philosophical. “You are correct in what you say. If I had not rebelled I would not have seen God in this way, nor would I have met you or Claire or become close to Dean. I would not choose differently, even if it meant I would get to go home. This is… better.”
He looked down at Molly. "Did I answer your question?"
