Molly felt a bit guilty at having asked the question. Obviously not being able to contact Heaven wouldn't be something anyone would want to talk about too much. Not being able to contact Grandma Suresh in India was certainly a source of sorrow for her, after all.
Not wanting to keep dwelling on the subject, partially afraid she'd upset him too much, the girl instead offered a hint of a smile. "You're right, you know, about meeting people important to me. I wouldn't know Matt, or Mohinder, or Grandma Suresh, without my ability. And I wouldn't be able to speak Hindi, which I really like being able to do, and live in India, which is just wonderful and..."
She trailed off, lips pursing as she thought about everything she'd gained since the tragedy that had befallen her parents. "I still miss my mom and dad," she admitted after a second. "But I don't want to give up what I can do. Someday, I might be able to really help people. If I gave it up somehow, I'd be acting selfish."
With that decided - even if actually giving up her ability hadn't been an option but merely a discussion - Molly gave a definitive nod as though that settled it. Then she absently tucked a few locks of hair behind her ear and squinted a bit at him with another thoughtful expression.
"So... you're an angel, right?" she questioned, even if her tone was anything but questioning. She was pretty certain she was right. There weren't many other options left as to what he could be, really.
