WHO: Anakin Skywalker and the Force God
WHAT: A long-awaited, and much needed, conversation.
WHEN: Mid-afternoon
WHERE: Room #401D
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress

God had spoken with Castiel and set the Metatron a task. She had played a bit of skeeball, although not nearly as much as She wanted, and had spoken over the message boards with a handful of those who were brought to Colligo. Now, She was focusing on having a conversation in person with one of them - one who had waited a very long time to discuss things with Her (or, at least, a variation of Her) and who deserved to have some questions answered no matter how difficult that might prove to be.

Anakin Skywalker. Another Son of Hers, in a manner of speaking. Yes, She was referred to as the Force in his reality and that was as it should be. She was referred to as many thing in many other religions and realities, after all. But it didn't change who She was, inherently, and certainly nothing as simple as a mere name mattered anyway.

Fortunately, the very room to which God had been 'assigned' was also Anakin's room, which made speaking with him privately a bit less tricky. She couldn't actually speak, of course, as he was partially human and his frail body simply could not handle such a thing, but the PDA was going to prove its usefulness in that way. She pulled it from the pocket of Her shirt as She stepped into the apartment, the door swinging shut behind Her of its own volition.

The Chosen One did indeed have questions for the Force. He wasn't sure how he knew She was the Force, he just did, like he did with many other things in life; it was one of those many hunches he got that just told him that something was some way and that it was the absolutely truth and wasn't something he should bother with questioning. How could he question this presence when the sudden appearance of It had made him fall to his knees, too overwhelmed by how bright and effervescent It was? There was no denying what She was, but there was the nagging question of what he was and knowing that She was the one being who could give him a solid answer.

No more speculation. No more debating around him about the nature of his existence like he wasn't in the room or how he felt about any of it mattered. No more doubt. No more denial. Just an answer.

Anakin bowed. He wasn't sure what else to do in Her presence other than to show respect in the most Jedi way he knew how.

God's lips quirked upward as She paused in front of him, waiting until after he'd bowed before making any sort of move. Once he was upright once more, She gave a wave and Her smile widened to reveal perfectly straight, white teeth. Then She held out the PDA upon which She had willed a message to appear, in Huttese so as to make it easier for him to understand.

Hello, Anakin. I can't speak to you directly without causing your death should you hear My true voice. I know you have questions, however, so feel free to ask them - there's no need for you to use this as well - and I will answer them.

She didn't add anything more, but instead took the time that he spent reading Her words to glance curiously around the apartment. She already knew what it contained but seeing it through the eyes in Her human vessel was quite interesting and entertaining for Her. Her fingers itched to explore every nook and cranny, every device, around Her but She refrained and instead looked back - and up, since he was quite tall compared to Her - to Anakin.

She needed to answer his questions, first, She knew. He deserved that much.

"But, you've been talking to be since I was kid," he said in response to what was written on the PDA he took from her, brows furrowed together in confusion. The more he though, however, the more that confusion lessened as he realized that all the 'talking' came in the form of visions and feelings that wasn't really talking at all. That made much more sense to him and he lifted the hand that wasn't the PDA to wave off that question as if to say 'nevermind, I get it.' Which, he did.

Now. How did he go about asking this? He stood in silence for a long moment, blue eyes glued to the PDA screen as if he were waiting for more words to appear on it. When nothing did, he swallowed that knot of nervousness that had collected at the back of his throat and asked, with a surprising soft sort of innocence to his war-battered voice, "What am I?"

God didn't bother to explain the difference between speaking to him and speaking to him, knowing he would figure it out quickly himself. He was intelligent, almost too intelligent, really, as he tended to overthink a great many things, but that was neither here nor there at the moment. The point was, he figured out what She meant soon enough and God smiled a bit as he all but waved the comment away and instead began trying to decide how to word his question.

She knew what the question would be. She had heard it before, many times, in his own mind. She had never answered it before, however, because he simply hadn't been ready to know. To be told anything other than what he'd wanted to hear would have set him upon a path that he wasn't meant to walk. Just as She knew to ignore the question now would do much the same.

Still. Just because She knew the answer and he was prepared to hear it didn't mean that it would be easy for him to accept. So rather than answer immediately, She instead met his gaze, Her expression becoming softer, before giving a nod at the PDA.

The words appeared instantly. While perhaps not simple, they were directly to the point. He'd earned that much, at least.

A Jedi. That is what you chose to become, is it not?
