If there was something Eliot knew about, it was having a rough time. There were a few comments he could have made, might've made, but that was all just a little too personal. "Story of most of the people here. Getting collected and played with doesn't make for a great time."
He stepped back from the bag, pulling off the fingerless gloves he was wearing and tossing them on top of his things. "Sure." One word to convey that he didn't believe her fully on that one, given their past few minutes of interaction.
