WHO: The Charmed Ones, Chris Halliwell, and open to Peter Petrelli
WHAT: Attempting to deal with the Barbas issue.
WHEN: Early evening
WHERE: One of the parks in Colligo
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress

Dark. Why did they always have to do this in the dark? If there was one thing Prue wanted, it was to face a creepy demon in the bright sunshine, complete with birds chirping and little fluffy bunnies flouncing about. But no. Instead they got the creepy park with the crunching of branches underfoot and shadows that made it seem like someone was hiding around every corner and just waiting to attack them.

Prue loved being a witch. Maybe not as much as some, but it was part of who she was now. She also loved saving innocents. What she did not love was stalking around, in the dark, in the woods, in designer boots, looking for a demon who had tried to drown her before. That was definitely not at the top of her Fun Things To Do List.

And yet, here she was. Doing just that. Or, at least, her astral self would be doing just that here in just a few minutes. Her physical self was going to stay behind - not too far away in case she was needed, but not close enough that Barbas could have all three sisters in his grasp at one time.

Exhaling slowly to calm her rattled nerves, the eldest of the Halliwells looked around. Any minute now, a sister she'd never known she had was going to be showing up. As would a nephew from a future that she wasn't even sure was valid anymore. She was going to be facing battle with them at her side, in some form or another, and yet she barely knew a thing about them. Had never even spoken face-to-face, merely over the message board in this freaky little town.

Prue, currently, was perfectly fine with that fact. Her focus wasn't on Paige, or Chris, or even Piper. She was thinking solely about the mission ahead of them and how they were going to win, no matter what it took. She was thinking about what to do if they didn't beat him this round, and how good it would feel if they did. She didn't let a single doubt flicker into her mind nor a single worry wash over her. There would be time for all of that later.

Right now, they had a demon to vanquish.

Chris had orbed barely a few minutes before his aunt Paige just outside of the park. It had taken a lot of willpower not to just lift the potion from her and do this all on his own. It was the facts that he didn't want to worry his mother, and that he didn't think his ass could take that much kicking, that kept him from doing so.

"Eugh, God. What is that smell?" He heard her before he saw her and he rolled his eyes. The point of walking the rest of the way was the fact that it was much more incognito than orbing. A point that would be made absolutely pointless and useless, if she kept up the running commentary and sarcastic quips that he knew that she was very much capable of keeping up.

"It's a park, Aunt Paige." The barely controlled exasperation was quite obvious in his voice. "It's going to smell like a park and the people and animals that spend time in it."

He could make out in the dark, thanks to the light in the corner, reflecting from behind her, the scrunched up 'yeah, yeah, whatever' look she was giving him. Nevertheless, she ignored him and went on. "Dog poop! I knew it! I knew I remembered that smell. If I step in dog poop I'm going to-"

"Could you shut up now?" He snapped.

"Well, excuse me for not wanting to step in dog poop. Would it kill Barbas to do this in a dark alley? A clean one."

"Right. Because there are that many clean dark alleys."

Paige pouted at his point. "No but some of them smell less than dog poop."

Chris rolled his eyes. The sooner they got through this the sooner he could go home to his boyfr-charge. He knew that the commentary was because she was nervous. She'd been his charge long enough, that he knew her quirks. That still didn't mean he didn't want her to shut up. Because when Chris was nervous? He liked to brood in his silence.

He did appreciate that she turned her ramble to a low muttering.

He spotted Prue first, and he knew the moment Paige did when her muttering tailed off. This was Prue. The Prue Halliwell. He wasn't quite sure who reached for who but felt a slight squeeze on his wrist.

"We're here." He called out, lowly, for her attention.
