Kirk/Simon
Captain Kirk,

I will be blunt. I know little of time or dimension travel, but I think it's safe to say there's a certain chance that we will not be able to return home. Now I am satisfied here, as I have the two things most important to me, my girl friend Kaylee and my sister River.

However I doubt they will remain satisfied here. They both have a strong love of the black. Now hopefully there will be a resolution, but even if there is, there's a good chance it may be chaotic, or out of our control, or only some options may be viable.

To the point. If need be, I would like to secure passage on your ship, or in your world for myself, River, and Kaylee. Ideally we'd like to obtain jobs on your ship. I am a prodigy doctor, and although I would probably need to adjust to your technology, I'm sure I'd be a viable asset, and would be willing to work under that judgemental bastard Dr. McCoy. Kaylee is a gifted mechanic/technician and - again with some training - would be an excellent aid to your engineering staff.

If personel rules would prevent us from obtaining positions on your ship, then I merely ask that you assist us in reaching a viable hub or trade planet, where we should be able to make our own way.

Obviously, I will attempt to do the same for you, should the situation call for it.

Thank you for your time,
Dr. Simon Tam.

I'll see what I can do, Doctor, but I must inform you that Starfleet has certain regulations in place in regards to time travel and other universes--General Order 157, the Temporal Prime Directive, in particular. It's because of that directive that, as a Captain, I can't honestly give you a solid yes or no answer. However, if it comes down to it and the only way out of this place is by way of my ship, I'll gladly take everyone here who wants to leave on board. and deal with those assholes from temporal investigations and a dozen lectures from desk jockey admirals

Thank you, that's all I could fairly ask you for at this point. I feel relieved in knowing that if we cannot get back to our world that we have another possible escape.
