Dear Asaph (or whoever else left the Christmas tree for me and can answer this),

Thank you very much for the Christmas tree. It's very nice and very, very pretty. But considering Christmas really isn't supposed to be about a big guy in a red suit with pet reindeer breaking into my house to leave me things, I just wanted to make sure it was okay with you if I donated the tree to the local homeless shelter. I think they would like it even more than me.

If I can't do that, may I at least get money for some of the ornaments that aren't even ornaments at all, but are just pieces of expensive jewellery hanging on branches and donate it to them?

I won't, if it'll make you mad or hurt your feelings, and I really won't if it'll make you want to have bad things happen to the people here. But if it's okay, I think I'd really like to do that instead of just keeping it. They need it more than I do.

You know, I bet whoever left you the Christmas tree wouldn't mind that at all.

Why don't I help you sell the ornaments, and then we can take the tree and the money and give it to the shelter. I'm sure the Doctor wouldn't mind.

Would you like to come over for some fudge-filled chocolate chip cookies and fresh milk? The cookies I made myself, but the milk came from a cow named Patrice that's from someplace that's like here but not. She was very nice and let me have some when I left there.
