I know you're listening. You're always listening, aren't you? All that "omnipotent" bullshit you spout. And I know you think that this- whatever the fuck this is- will break me. But hear me now: I might be the last of my kind, but I will go down fighting.

OOC: SO. This Shepard is from about five years after the (purely hypothetical) end of Mass Effect 3, in a situation where Shepard failed to save the universe from the invasion of an ancient machine race called the Reapers. She's been plucked from a sealed, hidden sanctuary where a small population of most species resides, lying in wait. The actual location of the sanctuary is telepathically removed soon after someone arrives there, so the people who live there have no idea where they are in the universe (in order to keep the Reapers from getting their hands on the information). Shepard herself has seen her own team both killed and, in two notable cases, indoctrinated and turned into Reaper slaves, so she's a lot more cold and ruthless and is pretty convinced she's in some sort of advanced virtual construct meant to trick her into giving the way intel and that nothing here is real, so... have fun. xD
