7/1 A Competition of CrowsThe Crows receive a contract on the life of Count Arturo Montagne. It appears he has quite a few enemies, as there are multiple contracts out on his life. The contracts all depict different reasons from gambling debts to the intentional blocking of a political marriage. The reasons do not matter, though. It’s a race between all interested assassins for a hefty sum (not to mention bragging rights). 7/6 Demon at the North Gate There have been rumors of a sighting of a Rage Demon near the Northern Gate. Concerned, Knight Commander Osborn Louchart asks for someone to look into it. Iveani Ralaferin, Sylvaine Severin, and Sorin Ghrian offer to check things out. 7/10 Warden Recruitment Tourney In the interest of increasing Warden recruitments, Warden Commander Frieda Ortan arranges for a recruitment event to give interested parties a chance to approach the Wardens… and potentially to look for promising conscripts via the accompanying tourney, which is likely to draw many spectators. The tourney pits Wardens against any willing challengers. Adan Sarazin is triumphant in a battle against Aeren. However, Caspian Pentaghast loses a battle against Asmund Astyth, whose skill definitely attracts The Warden Commander’s attention. A messy fight between Midha Aenoch and Ilshae Alerion ends in a respectable tie. Prince Aurelian attends the event, but despite his best effort, The Warden Commander refuses to allow him to join the Order. 7/14 Mounting Tensions In the wake of the disappearances from both foreign delegations, Marquise de Freyen and Magister Alexius are not well-pleased with each other. A meeting is arranged in the private room of The Hero’s Crown, a highly respectable - and discreet - establishment. However, with a little bit of subterfuge, Sabrina Esposito has a chance to overhear the tail end of the conversation. 7/22 A Bad Shipment What appears to be business as usual takes an odd turn when Oswulf Tranador notices something strange about an incoming shipment of lyrium. Due to time constraints, the shipment ultimately goes through as planned - unfortunately, over the course of the next few days, Mages and Templars begin acting very strangely. Oswulf Tranador then has to recruit assistance from Noëlle d'Orly and Inge Tiras to attempt to clean up the mess, though it may be too late... |
Things started off with a polite bang as negotiations between King Markus Pentaghast, Ambassador Manon de Freyen, Ambassador Octavius Alexius, and Warden Commandor Frieda Ortan began. Meanwhile, the nearby town of Lienz had petitioned Grand Cleric Anastasia for help with their missing sheep. She put out a call for help, which was answered by Asmund Astyth, Elspeth Andry, and Cecily Garside. Upon their arrival in Lienz, they discovered the problem was dragonlings, which they quickly dispatched. Duchess Isolde Van Markham hosted a ball in honor of King Markus Pentaghast and Prince Aurelian Pentaghast. In the week following, however, both Valentine Cormier and Rosalind Margrace came upon troubling scenes following the disappearances of members of both the Orlesian and Tevene delegations. Valentine Corimer reported his findings to Ambassador Manon de Freyen while Ambassador Octavius Alexius questioned Rosalind Margrace. Unfortunately, no real answers were found and the delegation members are still missing. 1st - Cassidy (33) 18th - Oswulf (32) 20th - Caspian (29) The Bad Shipment plot event is the first in a monthlong series of plot events that will require members of the Merchants' Guild and Carta.
