Summerday Plotting Post

Although the bulk of the army will not return for some time, the Wardens will arrive back in Cumberland on 30 Cloudreach, just in time for the feast day of Summerday. On 1 Bloomingtide, the rebuilding city will hold a festival to celebrate the returning heroes and lift the spirits of the populace, with food for all and steeply discounted wares from local merchants as arranged by the crown and the Merchants' Guild. The traditional morning chantry service to confer blessings on the young people reaching adulthood this year will be followed by a brief speech by the queen on the chantry steps. Celebrations will continue in the streets throughout the day and into the evening as the people of Cumberland look to a brighter future free of the Blight.

There will be a group starter provided for this plot. Please use this post to discuss any logs you might want to do!

Maaya's Miscreants - one last time!

Noëlle will be there, doing a bit of shopping and a bit of socializing, but lbr, she's really mostly there to make sure Bastien didn't get himself dead. She's available for things if you want her, and this will be her last appearance in public in Cumberland before she leaes for Orlais (currently I think that will happen around May 5-6).

Raziya is there and once she visits with Takwana a bit, she will be shopping up a STORM. She needs a lot of things for her nearly-finished ship, guys. She's also probably negotiating with some merchants as she needs to get her trading up and running again. But she also likes having a good time, will likely be eating and drinking and making merry and such. Available if you want her, but she's also in town through the 15th if you'd rather a less public venue for a final log.

Lev might stop in, mostly for food. Available if you want him, though he's not super social and will leave early. He is also scheduled to be leaving town around the 6th of May!!!!

Vincent says there are way too many people. He stays at camp.

Sorin is around, mostly for a last hurrah. He leaves soon so unless you and I have arranged something between our charas before he leaves, this is your last chance for a log or a mini with him! (My preference is towards minis but I'm open to a more extensive thing if you want/need!)

Dagrun is mostly around to eat and people watch. Available for minis, tbh!

Alia is Not in the Mood. Sorry. But she's around until the 15th anyway, so.

Sounds good to me! With rehearsals starting up for me v. soon I'm all about the handwaving of things, and we have a couple of more involved logs coming up real soon anyhow~ So we can keep to Ziya+Sorin mini!

Souvelani doesn't see the big deal? Like, she supposes if they NEED SOMETHING that's for sale cheaper... that? Eh, she's w/e about it. XDDDD But possibly around, at camp or city.

Takwana is heartbroken over more loss, though he is trying to cope with religion. So he'll be at the Chantry service for sure.

Sandrin will be around throughout, friendly and business-y. He's helping the country how he can here.

Bronn will be drinking. Maybe buy one practical thing, one ridiculous thing.

	I told Maaya this earlier, but for realz, one of my coworkers has a wall calendar that says for April: "I have mixed drinks about feelings." i don't want to overload TOOOO much, but it's last event technically so WELP.

bastien is back in town not quite himself, but HE'S BACK. attends the speech and will likely be seen more with asmund than not, though he can be caught alone obviously! his arm is in a sling because it's not done healing, ftr.

godric is similarly leaving on the 6th, and is also available! in a relatively good mood despite valya, actually.

rosalind is likely going to hermit. i think she might come out for the speech out of love and respect for the lost, but then she'll return to the tower for most of the day. will accept minis for her tho, if someone crosses her path to and from!!

una is here for shenanigans & stuff.

valya stays back at camp because duh, and idril is out of play at this point.
