3/2 A Dark and Stormy NightA dangerously powerful spring storm rises at sea and pushes inland in the afternoon. Parts of the harbor are damaged, as are a number of ships coming into port. Two vessels collide in the harbor. One is returning from Val Royeaux and captained by Raziya Nadhari. The other is filled to the brim with refugees from the Free Marches, desperately seeking a place free of the Blight. 3/4 Wedding Bells The sun finally emerges from the clouds for the wedding day of Luren Melra and Oswulf Tranador. The reception is held in a large hall near the Chantry and open to all friends of the couple, however close they are (or aren’t). 3/7 The Quarantine With more refugees arriving from the north and blighted animals in the vicinity, it is not a surprise when a patient in one of the city clinics dies horribly of what turns out to be the Taint. As the incurable illness begins to spread, it is up to the Grey Wardens to find and quarantine the ill at the outpost. Those who can handle a weapon are offered the option to undergo the Joining, but the rest are not so lucky... 3/12 Back to the Western Front With improvements to the Tevene weapon complete, Drusilla Branas, Tatiana Helos. Bastien Montbelliard, and Caspian Pentaghast return to Caimen Brea to test the artefact in the field against the darkspawn. ((note: these characters will be gone until the 19th.)) 3/15 A Rock and a Hard Place A new contract comes to the Crows via Sergio Cortes, who remains in Cumberland to keep an eye on his dwindling team. Unfortunately, the identity of the target puts one of the assassins in an extremely sticky situation. 3/22 Death Before Dishonor Sensing that Noëlle d’Orly and Bastien Montbelliard are close to learning his secret, Marin Voclain takes action in a suitably public and dramatic fashion. 3/28 A Theatrical Commotion Guards are summoned to break up an altercation in Cumberland’s theatre district, but unfortunately, they do not arrive quickly enough to prevent a death. |
On the feast day of Wintersend, King Markus Pentaghast announced the end of the negotations, which made the subsequent celebrations all the sweeter. After a day devoted to commerce and another to the arts, Magister Alexius and the Tevene delegation hosted a tourney, which was ultimately won by Bastien Montbelliard, representing the Grey Wardens. To cap off the celebratory week, Duke Sebastien Van Markham invited the populace into the palace for a ball. Shortly after the celebration, Warden Commander Frieda Ortan and Magister Alexius brought together representatives from their respective factions to discuss a collaboration. Unfortunately, the initial test of the new Tevene weapon was not as successful as hoped. The Crows stayed busy, completing an assignment given to them in Wintermarch. In addition Idril received and another commission from Duke Sebastien Van Markham. Not long after this, yet another ridiculous crop of rumors emerged. The Blight, however, would not remain far from anyone’s minds — while gathering herbs for the Chantry, Iveani Ralaferin and Souvelani Alerion came upon a pack of blighted wolves within walking distance of the city walls. When asked to look into it, one of the Wardens also found signs of corruption, causing a public warning to be issued. 16th - Souvelani Alerion (43) 28th - Lev Tagaris (27) |
The plot events associated with endgame offer the opportunity to pick up some side characters if you’re interested. You’re welcome to pick up some temp PC Grey Wardens, existing or new (possibly new conscripts as a tie-in to the Taint plot). These characters can last through the end of the Blight. There will be a few other possibilities open to you in April as well. Remember that temp PCs are your chance to play a plot character. These characters are not subject to AC, do not count against your character limit, are not subject to class/specialization caps, and are meant to last a short time.
