Why They Hate the Rain [ACTIVE] Who: Cloud Strife (chocobo_head) and Vergil (neloangelo) What: After a brief period of convincing, Vergil finally gets Cloud out of his room and into the cafeteria where they have a little chat and pass the time. Vergil likes the rain... When: Sometime around 4 or 5 in the afternoon. Where: Building Cafeteria Warnings: Not really.
To be quite frank, Vergil was extremely fascinated by this abnormal portrayal of nature. It was bad enough all ready that he; unlike many of the humans that inhabited this place, had never exactly encountered rain in his life. He had seen it and felt it before- but that was a long time ago. The memories of when he had enjoyed the rain while frolicking about in puddles with his twin brother were long gone and replaced with a longing emptiness. Even now as he sat at a cozy booth by one of the main windows with a cup of warm tea before him, his blue eyes couldn't help but glitter with a growing anxiety to just run outside.
The rain was a miraculous thing in his eyes. It had the power of both healing and great strength. In quantities it could obliterate even the strongest citadels and in small portions, could be the basis of complete civilizations survival. Water was indeed magnificent.
He brought the cup up to his lips and took a small sip letting the warm liquid warm his mouth for a bit savoring the taste. He was rather complacent. He had no idea why he felt so energetic- so lively. The rain had sparked something in him and had literally given him an optimistic outlook. He felt a bit surprised. The fact that he had literally asked Cloud (if not forced him) into accompanying him into the cafeteria was something he did not comprehend. He would have never done so but there was something about that rain- something that made him just want to share everything...
After a few seconds of meditating, he turned his head about the lonely cafeteria and waited for him before turning back to look out the window, his hand below his chin as he saw hail like droplets of water literally attack the window.
