Ever since her rather awkward meeting with Haruka a few days ago, Sakura had been nothing but a bundle of nerves. Lately, it had been more difficult to be happy about things she once knew made her feel very pleasant, and this new "embarrassed" emotion did not help matters. She was also starting to feel a bunch of new, unpleasant things... like nervousness, paranoia, and curiosity. It was all too confusing for her. To top it off, her eyes were now bright green and quite noticeable amongst the black and white of everything else. She couldn't wear sunglasses for the rest of her life and avoiding Naruto more than she normally would have would get suspicious quickly. Granted, Naruto wasn't the brightest guy in the world, but he still had a brain.
Having arranged to meet with him, she knew what she was risking by having him see her this way, but Haruka's words had bothered her and she needed to know what being a real couple felt like. As much as she cared for him, there were certain things girlfriends and boyfriends did that... they had not even gotten close to. Things she wanted to try.
Knocking on his door gently, Sakura kept her head bent and eyes averted to the side when he opened the door, hearing his bright voice, and hoping he would not be scared the moment she looked at him. "T-Thank you, Naruto..." she said meekly before walking into his home, not sparing him a glance out of her own fear.
