Haruka smiled warmly as she actually shared such facts with her, knowing full well that it had to be hard, and it almost made her feel a certain sense of pride to watch her pushing through. Finally, after a long moment, she finished off her drink and placed it to the side, leaning over so that her elbow was rested on the table and her head was supported by her hand. She was observing her, thinking, and apparently very interested in Sakura. Not that she didn’t normally look interested in her, but as she most likely didn’t remember their friendship all too well, it could have been a little unsettling to look so entranced by someone she more or less just talked to.
“You don’t have to be so nervous about it. It’s not… bad to talk about being affectionate with someone you care so much about.” She tilted her head while still supporting it in her hand and bit her tongue some in thought. “Or at least, it never has been with all the people I know – except for perhaps Usagi.” Not that she might even remember talking about Usagi now, but the girl just always seemed to pop into her head at the most opportune moments for examples. God, a part of her wished she would show up in this place. If she couldn’t have Michiru, Princess Serenity was the next best thing on her list.
Clearing her throat again (she needed to stop being so nervous, dammit, it wasn’t like her! Maybe she was just coming down with a cold…) she decided to press onwards. “So why haven’t you kissed?”
