She tried her best to not laugh as Sakura choked on her soda, her hand coming up to her lips to stifle it and the smirk spreading gently across her face. So much for not making things awkward. It was just so funny, though. Pausing, she decided to point out at least one very valuable lesson in the moment to pull away from the fact that she had apparently taken the conversation to a very uncomfortable place for the girl in front of her.
“Embarrassment. One of those non-pleasant feelings, I believe,” she said, taking another sip from her soda in thought. She was quiet as she let her words sink in, before finally pressing onwards.
“I wasn’t asking it in any dishonorable fashion. Just curiosity. I wasn’t expecting you to answer in any unladylike way. I mean, there’s no harm in knowing if you two have held hands, right? Or…” She paused, before adding, “Kissed, even?” She knew that it could cause her to turn an even deeper… er… grey, but it was a question that had to be asked, if only to plant the seed of curiosity into Sakura. It was easier to manipulate the minds of the young, that was for sure. “I’m sorry if I upset you.”
