As she slid into the booth across from Sakura, she wrinkled her forehead at her words, trying to act surprise. The fact that she was so shocked over an unpleasant reaction made her stomach churn with some worry. She ordered a soda from the waitress who came to their side for service, waiting patiently for her to leave again, before she looked back to Sakura, mouth scrunched only slightly in thought. When she let out a sigh, she decided it was best to be honest with her – or at least slightly.
“Not… everyone is completely pleasant all the time. Most of us … colored… people… We have a range of emotions that go beyond just pleasant. So it isn’t surprising that he gave you a… shocking reaction. Something you’re not used to.” She swallowed roughly, shaking her head. “But I’m sure that you’re not entirely interested about that.”
She paused for a moment, staring at the table, before she decided to gather information that she could use for her purpose in this meeting. It would make it easier if she had something to work off of. She went through the bit of information she’d been able to gather from before, but it was very, very limited. She was quiet as she thought, speaking only when she had finally gotten something that could be of some use.
“You’re dating Naruto, aren’t you?” It was strange (not to mention slightly nauseating) to think of, but she knew that this entire world was far too strange.
