Sakura looked at the hand warily for a brief moment before taking it anyway, finding no harm in simply shaking someone's hand. Besides, she felt familiar with Haruka. Why? ... That would have to be figured out some time later. If Haruka was nice and polite enough to take Sakura on a friendly outing like this, she was not going to complain. It wasn't a date so she did not have to worry about "cheating" on Naruto... not that he didn't trust her completely, of course.
Mentioning the recent acts in town made Sakura want to say something rash but she decided against it, feeling shocked that she had even considered giving her opinion on the matter. It wasn't in her place! Instead, she kept her mouth shut and walked inside, eager to simply get on with the day. She had hoped it would get her mind off of the world outside and its behavior, but already she noticed some colored people or partially-colored people who seemed more conscious than the others.
Taking a seat at one of the booths, Sakura made sure her skirt was smoothly covering her legs, unprovocative, and kept a very pleasant expression on her face the entire time. There was no reason to be otherwise, after all. "It has been pretty strange," she suddenly dared to comment, though chose to pick on a topic not as shocking as the public displays of rebellion. "I even met someone who doesn't enjoy milkshakes. How awful! Though... he had one anyway. I knew he was a nice boy but the initial outcry was rather..." she looked around her warily before setting her gray eyes back on Haruka, "... unpleasant."
