Sakura had honestly felt grateful that she was not being victimized to the awful and discriminatory act of being colored. It was not that she considered them any less than herself but it scared her of what others would think if she suddenly wound up waking up with something ridiculous like... PINK hair or something similarly horrifying. It would have felt embarrassing and shameful, and the last thing she wanted was to be considered ugly in the eyes of the one person whose opinion mattered the most to her: Naruto. It did not help that lately there had been rebellious acts breaking out throughout the town. It made her nervous and annoyingly curious. The other day she had walked by one of her favorite stores with some interesting text painted on the front window. She suddenly wished she had not read it.
Currently, though, she was attempting to keep such unpleasant thoughts away from her mind and focused on her lunch date with Haruka. It would be fun, she decided, to spend time with such a friendly person. Although she could not remember being as close to Haruka, Sakura had an extremely faint and vague memory of once having a closer bond. However, the idea left as quickly as it came. This was simply for some healthy socializing!
Hands clasped politely in front of her, resting gently on her sun dress, Sakura smiled warmly to the figure she knew was Haruka and stood there for a moment simply watching the coin, unsure as to what she should think of the act. "H-Haruka!" She finally broke out, plastering a sickeningly sweet smile across her face and trying to ignore her full-blown colored body. "It's so nice to see you! I'm happy we arranged for this. I'm sure it will be lots of fun!"
