TITLE OF POST [ Active] Who: Cloud Strife (chocobohead) and Vergil (neloangelo) What: After the whole incident, the two men finally get together to talk about it. When: Sometime around the evening. Where: 999B; Vergil's Room Warnings: Err... not really?
The last rays of the setting sun danced across the velvet carpet before a comfortable lofty leather chair. The curtains had finally been opened to show a rather interesting view of the city. If Vergil even bothered to walk towards the window, he would see a very elaborately decorated courtyard in an enclosed circular garden. Beyond the tall wall was the gigantic edifices of the city. At night, their tops would glow with strong neon lights and the city streets would seem to bustle with life- yet he never saw a single soul walk through those streets.
This world was a very curious place and much to Vergil's dislike, he was very curious as well. There was something amazing about all of this. He could sense that whoever controlled this town; these ghosts, their powers surpassed that of which he held. Having had caught the vampire curse proved it. And, to his great surprise, the people that had arrived just like he did held incredible strengths. Just like that demented blond man...
His chin rose from resting on his hands as he glanced off at the clock on the bedside table. He wasn't waiting nor was he anticipating anyone. He did not care for this Cloud personage- he just wanted answers. An irrational move from that man had almost cost him a scapegoat. He didn't even want to begin to think as to what was going to happen between Light and himself. Vergil wasn't fond of being pointed at with a gun.
It was almost four hours that Vergil had made his way upstairs with something to drink and to munch on and he hadn't moved from his spot on the couch. His eyes had been fixed on the open window- he figured having his apartment completely dark would make the man;if he came, uncomfortable. He wasn't exactly fond of the fact sunlight was actually entering; if anything the orange rays were making the room even more ominous with its devilish glows. The darkness was an allie, it concealed him while he could perfectly see through it. Now that he thought about it, he had been really paranoid with this whole thing. Hiding in darkness? Honestly. Vergil shrunk deeper into his chair rubbing his temple.
The sooner this got over with the better. Vergil was actually comfortable with the fact that the meeting would be taking place in his room. If he tried anything funny again, nothing would stop him from killing Cloud. Nothing.
