Her expression softened over time and she looked away too at first, already aware that she was blushing deeply without being able to help it. A kiss was important to her whether or not he realized it. She was one of the last people to give her heart away so easily to any single person which was why it took so long for her to ever begin a romantic relationship with another person. Obviously, her lack of success had to account for something.
The way he cast his gaze down and was so ready to leave because of her suddenly made Sakura feel very bold. She didn't know where it came from, really, but an intense confidence pushed her forward and had her placing their lips together again, one hand secure on his arm. The moment she did it, though, her sensible side woke up and started screaming into her ear but she ignored it, fierce and dead set on letting him know she wasn't afraid or weak. She wanted him to understand she did care about him no matter what he did or said. She would learn to forgive somehow.
A few long moments later she pulled away and just stared at his chest for some time. "You can leave if you want to," she said in a quiet voice, finally looking up to his face. She just desperately hoped he hadn't gotten mad at her for doing that.
