For some reason she decided to stand again but stayed where she was by her bed, hands crossed against her middle. She knew it was fate that Sasuke would always hold some piece of hatred for Naruto but she also thought, no matter what, their friendship would prove otherwise and would win the battle.
"All those things you mentioned, they're true, but they have more meaning behind them... His reasons for being there..." She twitched slightly at the mention of his first kiss. She had almost forgotten that day throughout the years and she really, really wished she had. The only thoughts that came out of that memory for her were many different versions of That moron. "You were fighting him because he was trying to stop you from going to Orochimaru. He couldn't let you go and he would have stopped at nothing to get you back. My attempt is futile compared to everything he has done.
And that kiss was a mistake," she made sure to emphasize, head throbbing at the awful memory from her point of view. "It was one of his many less graceful moments, to say the least."
Sighing, she rubbed at the bridge of her nose before dropping her arms. "You liked him at one point too, you know. You were friends whether you wanted to admit to it or not."
